Yesterday we wrote to MP Terry Jermy about the proposed cuts to welfare, in particular PIP. We’re pleased to see a response today from him. The government must not go ahead with these plans. See his Facebook for the full statement.

We unfortunately turned away 22% of those asking for help due to lack of funds. Never easy to do. We have seen an increase in people asking for help in the last 6 months. With shareholder greed pushing up energy and water bills this week we expect even more people will need help.

February Update 🗓️ This was a significant month for our support. At £218 donated, this was our second biggest month ever in terms of contributions. We were amazingly able to support 7️⃣ people in our town who needed help! Thank you for your acts of solidarity.
