Introducing DMind Benchmark: measuring what frontier models actually know about digital assets.
We built DMind Benchmark because frontier models get the basics of crypto right but miss the specifics, like @eigencloud slashing math or how ve(3,3) actually works. We wanted a way to measure that.
It has 3,154 questions covering nine areas of digital assets. People who've worked in the space for years wrote and checked all of them, and none came from an LLM. The paper was accepted to the Datasets and Benchmarks track at KDD 2026, and the dataset is on Hugging Face under CC-BY-4.0.

We've been testing frontier models on digital-asset reasoning for a year. The latest run includes @OpenAI GPT-5.5 , @AnthropicAI Claude Sonnet 5, @GeminiApp Gemini 3.1 Pro, @grok @Kimi_Moonshot @MiniMax_AI , and more.
None of them pass. On a set where 70% of the questions are Hard, no model clears 69% on the Objective subset, and the top five now sit within a point of each other.
They saturate the fundamentals and stall on MEME, Security, and DAOs. The depth gap is the same size for every vendor, the frontier included.
That gap is what we built DMind Benchmark to measure.
