Yes, agreed for the most part.
I think crypto is dead, and I'm at peace with that. Every great technology eventually disappears into the thing it improves. The culture fades. Stablecoins, blockchains and tokenized assets stay, and one day we'll just call it finance. Talked with @graminitha1 of @BitcoinNews at TOKEN2049 about what comes next.

A good deal doesn't always fail because the capital isn't there. Sometimes, it's because the wrong investor is at the table. That's one of the most overlooked risks in capital formation. We often focus on the quality of the opportunity, the strength of the fundamentals, and the amount of capital available. But there's another factor that can make or break a transaction: Capital partner compatibility. We've seen how misalignment can derail otherwise promising opportunities. An investor's mandate doesn't accommodate the proposed structure. The risk appetite doesn't match the realities of the deal. Due diligence becomes increasingly complicated because expectations weren't aligned from the beginning. Or both parties like the opportunity, but have fundamentally different views on timing, terms, or execution. To be clear, rigorous due diligence isn't the problem. It's essential. The problem is spending months in a process with a capital partner whose mandate, expectations, or decision-making capabilities were never compatible with the transaction. At GD Capital Partners, we believe capital formation starts well before the introduction. It means understanding the opportunity, identifying the right capital partners, establishing alignment around mandate and structure, and creating a credible path from initial interest to execution. Because the objective isn't to put the most investors in front of a deal. It's to identify the investors who have the mandate, appetite, and ability to execute it. The right capital partner doesn't just have the money. They have the mandate and the ability to deploy it. At GD Capital Partners, we work with sponsors, founders, and capital allocators to bring the right opportunities and the right capital partners together, with alignment and execution at the center of the process.

DD CAPITAL PARTNERS IS EXPANDING ITS REACH. CAPITAL, STRATEGY, AND MEDIA ARE COMING TOGETHER. I'm pleased to announce that I've taken on the role of Strategic Media Advisor to The Weekly Readout (TWR), marking an important milestone in the evolution of DD Capital Partners. With 25,000+ confirmed subscribers, The Weekly Readout has established an audience focused on financial markets, investment trends, and the forces shaping the global economy. This relationship represents more than an expansion into media. It's a strategic step toward bringing capital relationships, deal origination, commercial strategy, and media capabilities together within a more integrated platform. Why does this matter? Because the best opportunities need more than capital. They need the right positioning, the right relationships, and the ability to reach the right people. At DD Capital Partners, we're building around that principle. ♦ Capital Formation & Deal Origination: Connecting businesses and investment opportunities with relevant investors, family offices, capital allocators, and strategic partners. ♦ Commercial Strategy & Growth: Helping businesses sharpen their positioning, strengthen their go-to-market approach, and build the commercial relationships needed to scale. ♦ Media & Market Visibility: Expanding our media capabilities through our relationship with The Weekly Readout, creating new possibilities for financial market engagement, visibility, and distribution. ♦ Strategic Connectivity: Bringing founders, investors, and decision-makers closer together through relationships that can translate into meaningful commercial opportunities. Our differentiation lies in how these capabilities work together. Capital access without strong positioning can leave opportunities overlooked. Visibility without a commercial strategy can fail to translate into results. And relationships become more valuable when supported by the right intelligence, execution, and distribution. By bringing these elements together, DD Capital Partners is expanding beyond the traditional advisory model toward a more connected approach to commercial growth and opportunity creation. My role with The Weekly Readout is a natural extension of that vision, and I'm excited about the opportunities this relationship can create. Capital creates opportunity. Strategy drives growth. Media amplifies reach. Relationships bring it all together. We're building at the intersection of all four. And we're only getting started. 🔗 The Weekly Readout: weeklyreadout.com/

AI is creating massive demand for infrastructure, and we're positioning ourselves on the infrastructure side of that opportunity. Through our relationships with major capital partners and institutional investors, we're exploring data center acquisitions and development opportunities across the U.S. and Canada. The opportunity isn't simply about owning data centers. It's about identifying the right infrastructure, with the right power capacity, in the right markets, to support the next wave of AI compute demand. Our focus is on assets with secured power, live or near-term IT capacity, and a credible path to operational deployment. We're particularly interested in opportunities in the 15–20 MW range, as well as modular deployments and projects approaching delivery. We're looking to connect with owners, developers, and operators who have access to compelling assets and are considering their next strategic move. If you're working on a data center opportunity that deserves a serious capital conversation, let's connect. The next chapter of AI won't be built on software alone. It will be built on power, capacity, and the infrastructure behind it. #DataCenters #AIInfrastructure

The value of a good partner isn't just who they know. It's what they take responsibility for. We're a niche consultancy built for complex mandates that demand experience, know-how, sound judgment and integrity. We work with HNWIs, family offices, founders and business owners who need more than access. They need people who understand the stakes, know how to navigate complex relationships, and have the experience to carry the work forward. Gavela Consulting is growing into something bigger. More on that soon. Our work spans capital formation, acquisitions, business development and market expansion. → Direct investor access across 200+ VCs and family offices, plus secondary networks built through long-standing connectors. → An in-house BD team that takes on business development and commercialization. → Lead generation, on the ground and through inside sales. → X and LinkedIn growth that brings in inbound, not just outbound. From pre-seed to Series D, capital formation is one part of what we do. The bigger value is bringing relationships, expertise and commercial execution together under one roof, giving clients access to capabilities they would otherwise have to build, hire for and coordinate themselves. We take our mandates seriously. We understand that trust is earned through the work, the decisions made along the way, and the commitment to follow through. If you're raising, acquiring, deploying capital or expanding into new markets, DM me GD.

Most founders dont have a fundraising problem. They have an investor-targeting problem. At Gavela Consulting, we help companies build a smarter capital strategy and get in front of the investors most likely to fund them. I currently work with 200+ VCs, serve as a VP at Panther Hollow Ventures, and work directly with family offices, institutional investors, and strategic capital partners across my network. In the last 6 months, I've helped 4 startups raise capital. What we bring: → Direct investor access across VCs, family offices, angels and strategic capital → Secondary institutional networks through our capital partners → Investor intelligence to identify who is actually deploying → Capital alignment across stage, sector, geography, thesis and check size → Fundraising positioning to make the opportunity relevant to the right investor → Warm introductions, rather than mass outreach and investor spam We dont send your deck to 500 investors. We identify the investors who matter, build the right approach, and get the opportunity in front of them. And we stay focused on one thing: Turning investor access into actual capital conversations. If youre raising Pre-Seed, Seed or Series A and want to know whether your company fits our network, send me: 1. Your deck 2. Your current raise 3. Your target round size 📩 DM me “CAPITAL” and I'll take a look. The value isnt having 200+ investor contacts. Its knowing which investors matter for your company.

The introduction isnt the value. Its the easiest part. A founder has an opportunity. A family office has capital. An investor has a mandate. Putting them in the same room isnt hard. Getting the transaction done is. Our job is to understand deeply enough to know what can work, what will struggle and what will fail. Can the counterparty actually bring the capital? Is the structure realistic? Will the deal close? Is the relationship with the family office or fund strong enough? Is the mandate specific enough to move it forward? And can we keep the opportunity close to the decision-makers, rather than watching it get diluted through layers of intermediaries? Thats where Gavela operates. We originate across commercial real estate, data centers, oil amp; gas, private credit, AI, venture and technology, through relationships with founders, operators, investors, family offices and intermediaries. Different sectors. Same problem: How do you turn a good opportunity into a transaction that actually closes? Weve facilitated $120M+ in transactions and built relationships across 200+ VCs, family offices, funds and capital partners. But the network isnt the moat. Access creates opportunity. Judgment creates selectivity. Execution creates value. Family offices dont need more deal flow. They need better deal flow. Thats why were not building another fundraising agency. Were building a private-market platform around origination, capital strategy and transaction execution, with potential for principal participation over time. The goal isnt more introductions. Its more of the right transactions getting done, with fewer layers between the people who can actually make the decision. If youve got a good opportunity that needs more than an introduction, lets talk.

If you bring the capital, you shouldnt have to build the investment business around it. That’s the problem we’re solving. Mike and I have already built the other side: Deal flow. Network. Diligence. Infrastructure. Execution. We’re working across CRE, data centers, oil amp; gas, private credit and high-growth venture. We source the opportunities. We qualify them. We do the work. You shouldnt have to. We’re looking for a principal who has spent years investing, underwriting, structuring and closing. Someone who brings capital and investment judgment, not another Rolodex. Because you shouldnt have to build an investment operation to invest like one. You bring the capital. We bring the machine. But this isnt about putting more deals in front of you. It’s about building something you own alongside us. A platform that can originate, evaluate, structure and increasingly participate in the opportunities we create. You get leverage on your capital. We get a partner who knows how to deploy it.Three partners. Complementary strengths. Shared upside. If you've spent your career around capital and want to build rather than simply invest, DM me “PARTNER.” One seat.

We’re looking for the third person at the table. Not an employee. Not a consultant. A founding partner. Gavela Consulting has already facilitated $120M+ in transactions across venture, AI, blockchain, SaaS and commercial real estate. Between Mike and me, we’ve built relationships across 200+ VCs, family offices, funds and capital partners. There’s already deal flow. There’s already capital access. There’s already a business. Now we’re building the platform. We’re looking for someone who has spent their career allocating capital: VC. PE. Hedge funds. Family offices. Investment banking. Private credit. Growth equity. But the résumé isnt the point. The network is. You know who allocates capital. You know what gets funded. You can open doors. And you want to build something you actually own. The ambition goes beyond fundraising: Private capital. Venture. Syndication. Principal investment. Potentially, over time, our own investment vehicles. One seat. Ownership. Meaningful upside. A seat at the table from day one. If you've spent your career around capital and want to build rather than take another senior title: DM me “PARTNER.” If someone came to mind: Tag them.

We're looking for Partner #3. Gavela Consulting is entering its next phase. We've facilitated $120M+ in transactions across venture, AI, blockchain, SaaS and commercial real estate, with a growing network of founders, VCs, family offices and funds. But we're not building another fundraising agency. We're building toward a broader private capital + venture platform. Mike Gavela brings capital markets, M&A, hedge fund and entrepreneurial experience. David Dobrovitsky brings 10+ years in capital formation and venture, with relationships across 200+ active VCs, family offices, LPs and capital partners. Now we're looking for the third piece. Someone with serious experience on the investor / institutional capital side: • VC / PE • Hedge funds • Family offices • Investment banking • Private credit • Growth equity • Institutional investing More importantly: You have real relationships with capital decision-makers. You understand how investors think. You can open doors. And you want to build, not just advise. This isn't a salaried role. It's a founding partner opportunity with ownership, meaningful upside and a chance to help shape the institution from the ground up. Our vision extends beyond capital raising into: • Capital markets • Venture • Private-market transactions • Syndication • Principal investments We're not looking for someone to work for us. We're looking for the person who wants to build this with us. If that's you, DM me “PARTNER” and tell me briefly about your background and the capital relationships you bring. Let's talk.

Open source isn't free. It just moves the bill. You don't pay the vendor, so you pay engineers to understand it, maintain it, secure it and fix it when it breaks. DeFi did the same thing to finance. Permissionless ≠ accessible. If users need to understand smart contracts, bridges, oracles, MEV and liquidation mechanics before safely using a financial product, you've moved the complexity onto the customer. The next phase of crypto isn't necessarily more decentralization. It's better abstraction. Keep the blockchain open. Hide the complexity.
