Announcement day! 🚀
@docnode is now open source!
A simpler, faster, and type-safe alternative to YJS.
- Documents don’t grow indefinitely, unlike in a CRDT.
- Supports move operations!

Announcing docnode-lexical (stable)
Give your @lexicaljs editor RTC capabilities and offline support, thanks to automatic conflict resolution!
It’s more reliable than lexical-yjs, preserves selection better, and the undo manager doesn't consume as much memory

Aiming to launch @docnode in about 1–2 weeks.
CRDTs and OT are about to change forever.
Message me if you’re interested in a private preview! 🤫
I just opened the waiting list for @docnode, my side project I've been working on for two years. It's a CRDT and OT library (yes, it lets you choose the mode based on your needs). Some features:
- Top notch API
- Move operation
- Smaller serialization (and in JSON).

If the DOM API were designed today, it'd look a lot like @DocNode. I'm using the DOM as inspiration, but it still carries design flaws from its 1998 release
