Het lijkt mij onterecht om een both side-ism argument op te tuigen tussen de vermeende communicatiestijl van CvB leden en de extremen in gedrag van persoon A.
Neemt niet weg dat er een hoop werk aan de winkel is bij Leiden op het gebied van sociale veiligheid en organisatie.
Ik kan garanderen dat de dadendrang van nu vele malen minder beklemmend is, en in mijn beleving oprecht, dan het gevoel geen kant op te kunnen met een melding of enige hoop op verbetering te zien, zoals tijdens vorig bewind.
Maar misschien vat ik de 'hoe vraag' niet hier.

Ik was er bij. Er was weinig nieuws en toch was het verdrietig om weer te horen.
Wat wel fijn was, na maanden van rookgordijnen, is dat de rechter zei: "Het gaat om het gedrag."
Zo is het en hopelijk kunnen we allen inzien dat er geen ruimte is voor dit gedrag in de wetenschap.
BREEK: Bij de rechtszaak over het ontslag en het decennialange wangedrag van archeoloog Corinne Hofman ging het opeens over... kinderarbeid. ‘Uit foto’s blijkt dat kinderen op blote voeten met zware scheppen archeologisch werk doen.’

Het gaat hier om jonge kinderen, van een leeftijd waarvan we met het kinderwetje van van Houten in 1874 in Nederland al zeiden: dit mag niet.
Ik hoop dat dit soort 19de eeuwse praktijken dus geen usance is in de opgravingen die jij hebt meegemaakt. Het zou het niet moeten zijn.
Ja, de eigenlijke mailreactie op de brief van de voorzitter betoonde iets meer medeleven, maar dat is hoe dan ook geen substituut voor het echt doorpakken, adhv deze affaire, op sociale veiligheid waarom gevraagd werd.
Teleurstellend van de UR.

Ha, ja, inderdaad een ongelukkige kop. Ik kan je vertellen dat de originele brief juist wel ging om structureel wangedrag en dat dit juist in de UR ter bespreking gebracht moest worden.
Gelukkig komt in de rest van het stuk van de Mare wel de lading naar voren.
