Thank you @DMGrayMD for writing about the connection between diabetes & colorectal cancer. In 2018 we added screening for diabetes, hypertension & colorectal cancer to our Blue Hat Bow Tie Sunday awareness event. Minority communities are at higher risk for this link #disparities
Obesity, smoking and alcohol are some of the factors that can raise the risk of both cancer and type 2 diabetes. Learn more from Ohio State's @DMGrayMD.

Outstanding work! Knowledge is power. Need education (all of us!). #YennieKwak, @docskitchen @loriwelsteadRD @UChicagoGI
Ye Eun Kwak, @UChicagoGI - very nice study telling us a sizeable % of pts aren’t aware they are obese. A main factor is lack of doctor’s education on weight! We need to learn how to provide counseling on this topic in a sensitive manner - great work! @guildconference #GUILD2020
