This is just so inaccurate. Carrie would honestly sit there and take it, and even if she did say something, she wouldn't dare cuss in front of her mom. Also, why are the adults on Carrie's side? The point of the story is that they would rather victim-blame than help Carrie.

Just a reminder that Britney Spears’s parents were never trying to help her. This is what narcissistic abuse looks like. They abused her and used her all her life and when she cried out for help decades ago and shaved her head in response to the abuse, they made the narrative out that she had inherent mental problems to cover up the abuse trauma. They then used that abuse trauma that THEY CAUSED to take full control of her life which caused her further trauma worsening the effects of her CPTSD. It’s absolutely monstrous what they did to her
