Credit to the @betintheshed team here for raising awareness on a topic that needs much more attention by @RacingAust as the amount of unspoken criticism and abuse that jockeys are subjected to can be damaging leading to stress anxiety and depression & far deeper outcomes…
Absolute garbage viewing the NFL is, 10mins of action packed into 3hrs… 🥱 Gimme AFL any day of the week

Shout out to my first ever and very loyal jockey @domjock for bringing up his 1800th winner yesterday #congrats #milestone

Congratulations to Dom Tourneur, who achieved a milestone 1800 wins over the weekend!
He's demonstrated a great deal of resilience as he returned to race riding earlier this year after an injury sidelined him for nearly 12 months, and it is good to see him still riding winners.

An update on injured QLD
Shane McGovern sadly has had his left leg above the knee down amputated. He is stable and doing well considering. The QJA has set up a GoFundMe page and donated $5000. The link is:

Group 1 winning jockey Dom Tourneur is returning to the saddle after a serious back injury sidelined him a year ago.
After surgery, he now feels as good as gold, and he is looking to be riding at the Kangaroo Island Carnival this week.

We once had MJ, Usher, J-Lo for entertainment, now it’s bunny’s, Peking Duks & Jelly rolls 🤦🏽♂️ #SuperBowl
Me to Ai: Make a video of Marnus Labuschagne walking off every time he gets out but make it 3x speed please
Great sportsmanship from the Poms to give Uzzie a guard of honour on his final walkout onto the SCG 👏🏼👏🏼
If Steve smith was a racehorse he’d have blinkers, pacifiers, ear muffs and hobbles in the stalls pre-race! 😆 @juniorwaugh349 @FoxCricket
That’s gotta be one of the best performances in a final from the world no1 @LukeTheNuke180 and crazy to think he’s still 18 🤯
I’m glad Sunil gavaskar wasn’t commentating when Smith just got out playing that shot to Starc in the position England are in right b4 lunch!! #StupidStupidStupid #Ashes2025 #Ashes
