The public comment period on the proposed OMB federal grant rule has ended, but the work is far from over.
Nearly 500,000 comments were submitted, including Research!America's and those of many partners across the scientific community, sending a clear message about what's at stake for the future of science, technology, and medical research.
Now comes the next phase: ensuring policymakers at the federal and state levels understand the real-world consequences these proposed regulations could have on research, innovation, and the patients who ultimately benefit from new discoveries.
