Democracy isn’t tested in Parliament. It is tested at the campus gate, in the very moment a student asks “why?”
At IIT Bombay, Jamia and AUD, the state answered every democratic question with lathis, detentions and suspensions.
Solidarity with everyone holding the line!

Question @narendramodi on educations or elections and you're called "anti-national"!
Matthew VanDyke, American man arrested by NIA in a terror-conspiracy probe, gets bail & flies back to the US.
Manamanav's 56-inch nationalism has a Trump-shaped remote control. A single Signal, and the chest thumping stops, nodding begins!
So who's the "anti-national" here?

A decade after the New Development Bank (NDB) was created as an alternative to Western-dominated financial institutions, a new report finds that affected communities still have no independent avenue to seek remedy when NDB-funded projects cause social and environmental harm.
The report, 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬: 𝐀 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 , highlights major gaps in the bank’s environmental and social safeguards, including the absence of an independent accountability mechanism, weak project-level disclosure, and a disclosure policy that has remained “interim” since 2016.
The report also examines projects in India, including the Lamphelpat Waterbody Rejuvenation Project in Manipur and the Indira Gandhi Canal rehabilitation project in Rajasthan, highlighting concerns around environmental damage, livelihood disruption, transparency and community participation.
With roughly $43 billion approved across 139 projects by the end of 2025, the report argues that the NDB must move beyond its promises and establish stronger safeguards, transparency and accountability for the communities affected by its investments.
