TLDR: Wish list items for the next era of @RTFKT. To the anonymous RTFKT owners, first congratulations on landing the deal. Could easily be one of the most legendary purchases in or out of web3. Here is an unprovoked wish list, not telling you how to run the IP just opinions: •Focus equally on creators and collectors. Collectors are not loud, if they get the feeling you don’t understand them they silently leave and with it any chance of your IP succeeding over the long run. Many whales walked semi early when the creator focus took over. Once the collectors leave it becomes harder for the creators to make money chaos ensues, they leave too. •Don’t eff the token up if you do drop one. You get one shot at that drop. Several metas are over. Going to have to innovate. A dynamic algorithmic stable coin that drops daily for instance and adjusts its disbursement tied to the demand keeping it in balance could work, whatever you do just avoid the “10% to the community and 90% to our team” meta that killed several projects. Cyberkongz original banana token is still the best example imo, they just needed better sinks and regulatory clarity. •Honestly, I’ll just say it…find @aalasady_ and hire him as the digital marketer, you do not have a better person, no one does. Would he do it? Who knows but if he does your chances of succeeding rise. •You might know a guy that knows a guy that is good with 3D but @clegfx’s specific art style defines this project. Without him any new 3D will feel like diet RTFKT. Not Diet Coke either, diet crystal Pepsi. •Get Takashi onboard, he and other crucial members are key to the success. Sam C, Dreams, Jampants, I would say Jarlan but he’s already been signed. •The space pod concept was epic. Hope you figure out a way to bring them back into the fold. Doesn’t have to be with oncyber, but the digital real estate concept was 🔥. •Spotlight creators that are clearly crushing it. @VegaGenesisTM for instance should have gotten way more love. •Find a way to make loot so it crushes for you without making it feel slimy and vampire like. We want you to get rich, just not at the expense of us getting poor. •Build a verse. @hermannarula mentioned he’s got a connection that could build a working city with multi thousand concurrent avatars for a relatively low cost monthly. Whether with him or someone else build a verse, figure out how to create a pipeline of items to sell. Without the verse no real reason to buy digital gear for the clones. And no, wearing a jacket and taking a picture to post on the timeline isn’t going to work. •Let the clones clone their DNA for a fee and sell/give away/hold the resulting vial at their whim, only the genesis clones have the ability. Not the next gens. Brings insane value to genesis clones, builds the community, you make money on the fees, rewards rares (always a challenge). Win win. •If you do a TCG, please do a digital TCG and create a digital marketplace in the app to easily buy and sell the cards. •find a cool way to honor Benoit. •Make owning a clone a no brainer. You can do this with cloning, and daily digital drops (daily drip drops of ai driven self balancing tokens). Find reason why people would be crazy to not own a clone. You want them thinking about how they are going to buy their next clone not when they are going to sell their current clone. •Don’t forget INVTRY, it’s a killer app. That’s all I can think of at the moment. Thank you for joining my Ted talk. Best of luck to you and your crew.
