Twitch Rivals SF6 today.
I grinded like crazy for this event, prob played around 550 matches plus multiple coaching sessions from @MysticSmash and @doonpa to learn the game as quickly as possible.

Sf6 is consistent at top level. It’s extremely random at anything lower than that. Didn’t everyone come to this conclusion like 2 years ago? Is this not apparent by tournament results? On netplay anyone can cheese out a lucky win once every blue moon. Netplay is not real.
Haven't booted sf6 in like 8 months I think? Hop on ranked with Chun Li and fight an Aki player. I react to the leaping multihit special move Aki does with level 1 and THAT SHIT TRADED AND I GOT LIKE 100 DAMAGE BRO. CAN YOU GIVE THIS WOMAN THINGS THAT DON'T RANDOMLY FAIL TO WORK?
Bro the way people mash Assemble in Tokon is the way people made it sound like Persona players were mashing B+D. Game developers have to stop copy pasting the most ass mechanics from older games and think they can fix them in newer games. You can't fix her man.
Thoughts on Tokon:
1. Game is extremely similar to bbtag but harder + scrubbier
2. Matchmaking needs improvement. I keep getting matched with the same people and they definitely do not want to play me ever again.
3. It's fun but boring at the same time? Probably due to my team.
4. Damage is too high, assist spam is too much, and its way too easy to make it a one player game.
5. PC port is cancer even as a PC player who did not experience any issues trying to play with even console players.
6. People still don't play out sets even when its casual match.
Modern games don’t require player concessions to do optimal routing for combos or oki, and movement has been standardized systematically and often mechanically with the inclusion of dash macros so people “moving different” ultimately just boils down to decision making.
Why not just turn the movie advent children into a video game to “continue” the trilogy instead of whatever slop they are likely to cook up?
