I got so emotional yesterday because this is where I came from..... I left home when I was 16. My whole life I've struggled with the want to be "good at something" I dropped out of highschool to work full-time to live literally next to a homeless shelter in the basement of a building. You know those scary ass basements with the small shallow wooden stairs where you're like NOPE someone's going to kidnap me....that was the entrance to my apartment. My bedroom literally fit just my mattress nothing else and the bathroom was attached to it. I got stuck in another country in a very bad relationship in my early twenties where I had to put myself into debt in that country but also Canada to escape. My mom was diagnosed with cancer and I realized that life was far too short to let someone abuse me. When I moved back to Canada once again I just got back to working my butt off to survive because that's all I knew how to do. Until I met my husband who's been my rock. He helped me change my life around, I got out of debt all on my own with his support. We had our first child and she was a blessing, then our second child. I lost my brother to suicide and then lost my mother 10 months later after her LONG battle with many illnesses. I've literally hit rock bottom when I needed to seek help for my mental health because I just crashed from never letting myself grieve, breathe or even rest. Over the past 4 years I've had a surgery on my arm every single year to the point where working on a computer for extended times is debilitating (I literally do 90% of trading stuff on my phone it sucks) I'm doing this for my family, for my husband. So we have more time together in life because after being through everything, seeing rock bottom, staring at the light pole in front of my car, I know that nothing in life is more precious than being with them. I might not be profitable, I might make mistakes, but I'm not going to give up. I haven't yet. MAMA WICK
