watched some soccer games with @TopStrikeIO, gambled on some pokemon cards with @mnstr, got crushed by really smart people in @Showdown_TCG and somehow got myself to #35 on the @megaeth leaderboard in the process
gacha pokemon rn feels like top blasting but this casino is too fun mnstr.xyz/share/packs/417544…

$BURGER has surpassed 100 holders as the fair launch continues with a healthy distribution!
3,000,000 tokens have been burned as part of the automatic liquidity provisioning process as well!
Looking forward to the next 100 holders and the future!
pretty sure @kGolid is the best at color palettes in the generative art space. Lucky to have minted the one I was chasing after from Monument today on @verse_works
I’m beginning to think that @Blast_L2 is the purest form of postmodernism

🧵What makes the @nodemonkes art standout and feel unique? I dove in to try and understand what sets this collection apart from other pixel art projects out there.
1) There are no outlines. Traditionally when drawing pixel art you learn to start by drawing outlines of your characters/objects. Nodemonkes totally disregards this and instead goes for a borderless design. This immediately makes it "feel" and look a lot different than other pixel art characters.

trading ordinals hearkens back to a time of dialup modems and AOL cds in the mail and that by and large is a neat thing, despite constant error messages, waiting, and general confusion.
Bullish nostalgia in a post blur/nft nerds era
Some random thoughts after immersing myself in @nodemonkes and trading for the last 2 days:
- Trading on btc after eth and sol def has its downsides but at the same time some charm to it
- Lack of tooling evens the playing field
- Buying friction slows everything down
- No one knows what’s going on sometimes and there’s a bit of “luck” involved
Overall it’s fun and interesting to me because it feels nostalgic, confusing, and a bit magical again despite all the quirks and earlyness
