Yes, BBC reporter Jane Standley reported live that the 47-story Salomon Brothers building (WTC 7) had collapsed while it was still visible standing behind her. This occurred around 4:54–4:57 p.m. EDT, roughly 23–26 minutes before the actual collapse at 5:20 p.m.
BBC later called it an error amid the chaos. They cited incorrect Reuters wire reports (later corrected), similar premature claims by CNN and others starting ~4:15 p.m., and consistent alerts from emergency services that the fire-damaged building was in danger of falling.

Impressive discipline by astroturfed MAGA demagogues to ignore protests and riots in Albania against the corruption of the country's political class
Surely that wasn't because those in the streets were non-immigrant Europeans, or that the protest wave was triggered by the planned selloff of Sazan to Jared and Ivanka, who first discovered the island during a pleasure trip on Nat Rothschild's yacht
This video of protesters battling riot police was filmed just two days ago in Tirana

Sorry everyone... We're announcing a 0-Day vuln in QUIC that allows anyone to remotely turn off a server running these libraries. I swear we didn't plan this.

It sounds like while searching for the mysterious PHP RCE, everyone has been finding new issues and these aren't solved by the update, of course.

chat. chat... its not funny anymore
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The original post has since been edited to specify that this was about an unrelated vulnerability that the user had discovered, not the recently patched vulnerability.

So yea about that new RCE in PHP, if it took me ~10min to find, you know it's already into some bad hands.
No way they did the meme.

It appears these intermediary certificates were issued with single-byte P-384 private keys. This means anyone can exploit this issue locally and issue valid certificates under them with no effort.
This is very, very bad! Seems undetected since issuance in 2025?
private keys from 8 intermediate CA certs have been compromised (eMudhra)
