Come work with us if you are interested in specifying, and implementing Wasm/JS features! Bonus points if you’re already in the Wasm CG or have some experience with TC39. If these words don’t mean anything to you, but you’re interested, I can also answer questions. :)

Are you interested in working on WebAssembly tooling including Emscripten, Binaryen, and LLVM? My team is hiring! Bonus points if you can help us integrate Emscripten into modern web dev workflows. DM me or @DerekSchuff if you’re interested!

I'm curious to know who is using Asyncify with WebAssembly these days? (in any way - with Emscripten, without, etc.) Details could help with current work on Wasm Stack Switching, which is meant to be a standardized, much more efficient VM-based approach. kripken.github.io/blog/wasm/…

Thanks @zeuxcg for your work! From the standards perspective it's been very valuable to engage with and incorporate feedback from real world applications.
Oh also v8x16.bitmask et al made it into Wasm SIMD MVP! I’ve now coauthored two accepted instruction proposals for Wasm SIMD, swizzle (pshufb) and bitmask (movemask), which is two more than I expected; the process has been really straightforward and friendly to outsiders.

How my brain has been functioning recently - 3:00PM: Can't fix bug, nothing works, need a nap 3:00AM: Oh here's a way to fix that thing you were thinking of, why didn't sesame seeds stick to the buns? Also remember that embarrassing thing from 5 years ago? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Earlier this week was my first time hosting a WebAssembly community group meeting. It was hard work, but looking over the notes today, I'm so grateful for the very productive two days. Thanks to everyone who attended remotely and in person!

Pay attention to this. We’re seeing up to 3X speed ups for real world models in the tfjs WASM backend with SIMD128 enabled!

It's been very exciting to see new applications try out the SIMD support in @v8js, have this work, and be fast. Take it out for a spin, and let us know if something isn't working like you expect it to.

New goodies from colleagues at @GoogleAI! All #MediaPipe effects - edge detection, face detection, hair segmentation, and hand tracking - now can run inside a Web browser, powered by XNNPACK and #WebAssembly
Thumbs up, MediaPipe! 👍👍👍 Check out the blog to see MediaPipe graphs running live in the web browser, enabled by WebAssembly and accelerated by XNNPack ML Inference Library. Read here → goo.gle/2Gu2sdP

Really excited to show off the new WebAssembly backend for TensorFlow.js! We’re approaching WebGL performance for smaller models and new proposals like SIMD and mulithreading will push this even further. we’d love your feedback👇
We’re excited to release the Alpha of our WebAssembly backend for TensorFlow.js! 🎉 WASM has wider device support and better numerical stability while getting competitive with WebGL for smaller models. Share your feedback here → goo.gle/2PGiNBq

Desk move today, moving from the best desk I ever had. It had a window and a stellar view, but what I've loved more is I haven't needed my desk blanket in SIX MONTHS. I didn't know this was possible and I now want comfortable work temperatures forever.

Oh hey, I missed that this was already up. Come hang out with some of your favorite Wasm folks in Mountain View on the 16th!
Our next @Meetup is a special Silicon Valley edition hosted by @Google at the Googleplex! @kripken (of asm.js & emscripten fame) and @jordoncm (Google Earth) will be presenting. Space is limited so RSVP *now* => meetup.com/wasmsf/events/264…

Such conflicting feels when @torch2424 leaves as a colleague, but sends fun updates our way like this one! More runtimes that now support WebAssembly SIMD! 🎉
Super awesome to just join, and already be supporting the hard work of my friends, @tlively52 and @dptig , and anyone else involved with SIMD in Wasm! 😀🎉
