I love how everyone is pretending that this is somehow the fault of the program and not the company telling the program to do it.

The @NFLPA has put out a statement on @JalenHurts: “The NFLPA is not aware of any NFL investigation into the medical care provided to Jalen Hurts. In fact, the league previously informed the union that it did not plan to review the care he received. Before conclusions are drawn about how this situation was handled, there must be a full investigation into what occurred. Determining the facts is essential to ensuring players receive the highest level of care and protection going forward.”

I can help but think of the #RyanClark interview where he talked about doing everything he could to play again when he got severely hurt playing for the #Steelers & #MikeTomlin refused to let him play. That's the responsible response.
Booker G. Washington@BookerGWashOct 19
I hate to say it, but it sounds like Jalen wanted to do all of this. And it seems like the reporting is mixed on the level of seriousness. Given the Eagles’ statement and Jalen’s behavior, I would say they both were mutually risking it.

Victor Wembanyama has a form of a blood clot in the right shoulder. He is out for the season. The Spurs believe this is an isolated condition.

“good thing there’s no more guaranteed money” has never been said once in this history of this league. especially not by someone with a career-threatening condition.

If I’m Jalen Hurts and his agent Nicole Lynn, I’m happy that he doesn’t have much guaranteed money remaining on his current contract. I’d want to get as far away as possible from this organization and then take legal action.

Saints are scheduled to leave tonight for Paris, where they play the Steelers next Sunday at Stade de France. Despite intense riots and social unrest there, the NFL says the game is on. “Preparations continue as scheduled for NFL events and the game at Stade de France next Sunday,” the NFL said. “We continue to work closely with local authorities and partners on all operational and security matters. We are also providing the two clubs with regular updates. There’s been no disruption or impact at league sites.”
