WAIVER WIRE: WEEK 9
I'm 7-1 in my league. Here's who I'm adding at WR and who I'm leaving alone.
ADD
• Keenan Allen (IND): 7 targets, 7 catches last week.
• DeMario Douglas (NE): 16+ points in 3 of his last 4. I'll take the boom.
• Caleb Douglas (MIA): big-play FLEX against Detroit.
PASS
• Josh Downs (IND): he asked for a trade, and I'm not betting a roster spot on where he lands.
• Xavier Worthy (KC): bigger role, inconsistent production. I'm not paying for the name.
• Adonai Mitchell (NYJ): 7-142-1 was likely his peak. I'm not chasing it.
And you, what would you do?

Ashton Jeanty is sitting atop the Prop Shop 👀
🏈 OVER 33.5 receiving yards (-114)
✅ Hit in 7 of 8 games (88%)
📊 SF ranks 32nd vs RB receiving yards
The numbers look great, BUT…
His usage with Mike Washington involved last game has me wondering 🤔
Anyone worried about Jeanty’s receiving workload this week?

GREG DULCICH: SNEAKY TE PLAY?
Seems to be excellent!
GREG DULCICH: SNEAKY TE PLAY? 👀🏈
Here’s an interesting play for this week. How about Greg Dulcich against Detroit?
Dude’s been gaining steam over the past few weeks, and Miami is getting him involved with some pretty steady target volume.
Check it out:
Week 5 vs. CIN: 4 rec, 37 yds (5 targets)
Week 7 @ NYJ: 5 rec, 86 yds (5 targets)
Week 8 vs. NE: 4 rec, 43 yds (6 targets)
That’s 13 catches on 16 targets for 166 yards over his last three games. No touchdowns yet, but the opportunities are there and fit the old school, run the ball, throw to the TE style the Dolphins are trying to create.
Now look at the matchup.
Detroit has been giving up the most fantasy points to tight ends this season, allowing nearly 28 PPR points per game to the position. That’s a juicy matchup for a guy who’s seeing consistent targets.
So, the opportunity is there. The matchup is there. Now we just need the production to follow.
You can still find Dulcich on the waiver wire in most redraft leagues. If you’re looking for a TE this week, he’s a reasonable streaming option with upside.
In deeper dynasty leagues, I’d consider making a move for him if the price is right. He’s not someone I’d break the bank for, but given his current role, he could be an inexpensive addition worth taking a shot on.
I’m sending an offer right now, we’ll see what happens.

TANK DELL: GET-WELL GAME 🏈💥
I’m looking for Tank Dell to make some noise against the Chargers. 👀
Everyone knows the story. Dell returned to the lineup couple weeks back after nearly two years out with a devastating knee injury. Limited to just 14 snaps, he caught one pass for 43 yards and showed he still has that big-play ability.
DeMeco Ryans said Dell is “still quick as ever.” With Jaylin Noel sidelined for the season, there’s an opportunity for Dell to carve out a bigger role alongside Nico Collins and Marvin Harrison Jr.
The Chargers provide an intriguing matchup.
They’re winless and allowing 25.2 points per game. There are some real weak links in the secondary, too. CB Rodney Shelley owns a 26.9 PFF grade, while Deane Leonard sits at 40.2. Tarheeb Still and Cam Hart have played better, but there are opportunities for an explosive receiver to make plays against this group.
On the Texans’ side, C.J. Stroud has thrown for 1,867 yards and 11 TDs with just one interception through seven games. His 81.0 PFF grade ranks eighth among qualifying quarterbacks—and he’s done that while Houston has been working through injuries and changes to its receiving corps!
With the addition of MHJ and Dell working his way back, Stroud has some legitimate playmakers to work with.
Houston has struggled to turn that production into wins, but the offense has some new weapons to work with as the Texans look to climb back into the mix.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Dell doesn’t need 10 targets to make this interesting. His speed and ability to turn a short catch into an explosive play give him a path to a productive afternoon.
I’m not expecting a full return to his old workload just yet, but I like the opportunity. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if Tank Dell has a nice game. 📈
So don’t be afraid to flex Tank back into your lineup. If he’s cleared and ready to roll, the matchup is favorable, and his QB is slinging the ball around nicely.
I like Dell to have a nice day. 💥

3 PLAYERS TO TRADE FOR BEFORE WEEK 9. These 3 could pay off BIG down the stretch 👇
VALUE ALERT — DEVAUGHN VELE | NEW ORLEANS #Saints
I’m buying the opportunity before the breakout becomes obvious.
Trigger: Vele has earned meaningful involvement in New Orleans’ passing game. His nine-target, six-catch, one-touchdown performance showed what this role can produce.
What I see : I like receivers who stay on the field and run routes. Vele has shown he can earn targets, and that’s the foundation of a potential PPR breakout.
Cost : Check your waiver wire.
Fantasy : Redraft: 7/10 — PPR FLEX upside.
Dynasty: 7/10 — Useful depth with room to grow.
Verdict :I’m adding Vele as a speculative bench receiver. I want exposure to the opportunity, but I’m not calling him a must-start until his current target volume is confirmed.

I STILL BELIEVE IN LADD McCONKEY | LOS ANGELES #chargers
The Chargers are a mess. But I’m still betting on their most talented receiver.
The coaching has been disappointing. Justin Herbert has struggled. Omarion Hampton hasn’t delivered. Injuries have made everything worse.
But I still believe in Ladd McConkey.
He’s back. And the talent never left.
After battling foot issues and a concussion, McConkey returned to form against the Rams:
4 catches. 86 yards. 6 targets. A 54-yard explosive play.
He led the Chargers in receiving. That’s exactly what I wanted to see.
What I see: Elite separation, natural route running and an offense desperately needing a reliable WR1. I believe his workload is about to grow.
Fantasy: Redraft 8/10 | Dynasty 9/10.
Verdict: I’m holding McConkey and buying where his price has dropped. I’m betting on the talent, not the Chargers’ record.
Ladd McConkey is still my bet to become the alpha of this offense.

2027 NFL Draft QB Conversation:
Drew Mestemaker is a Top 10 Pick
CJ Carr is not a first round pick
Trinidad Chambliss is not a first round pick
LaNorris Sellers is not a first round pick
Austin Simmons is not a first round pick
Arch Manning is not a first round pick
Darian Mensah is not a first round pick.
Dante Moore is still a first round pick
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
VALUE ALERT — TYLER ALLGEIER | ARIZONA #AZCardinals
Tyler Allgeier. Remember that name. Arizona’s offense is falling apart, but his fantasy value is rising.
Trigger: Jeremiyah Love is expected to miss 4–5 weeks with an ankle injury. Allgeier is now positioned to lead the backfield.
What I see: Arizona has a quarterback crisis. Jacoby Brissett has been demoted again, this time to QB3, and Gardner Minshew takes over. With that instability, I expect the Cardinals to lean harder on their running game.
Cost: Check your waiver wire. This is a role-change opportunity, not a guaranteed cheap pickup.
Fantasy: Redraft 8/10 | Dynasty 7/10. I see legitimate RB2 upside while Love is sidelined, even with a difficult Week 9 matchup against Seattle.
Verdict: I’m targeting Allgeier immediately. The offense has problems, but opportunity wins in fantasy. And he’s about to get plenty of it.

⚔️ THIS GAME WILL BE WON IN THE TRENCHES.
Georgia averages 200.1 rushing yards per game. Ole Miss allows 148.9.
On the other side, Georgia’s defense gives up just 86 rushing yards per game.
If the Bulldogs control the line of scrimmage, they’ll control the tempo. Ole Miss needs explosive plays through the air to keep pace.
I trust Georgia’s physicality.
Georgia 30, Ole Miss 23.

VALUE ALERT — ANTONIO WILLIAMS | WASHINGTON #Commanders
Him again? Yes, again.
He’s taking over more of this offense every week. I believe we’re watching the future face of Washington’s receiving corps emerge.
Trigger: Terry McLaurin is out for the season. Williams just led Washington’s receivers in snaps and the entire team with 7 targets.
What I see: 83% snap share. Five catches for 54 yards against Philadelphia. The coaching staff keeps giving him more responsibility, and he’s delivering.
Cost: Check your waiver wire. His role is growing faster than his reputation.
Fantasy: Redraft 7/10 | Dynasty 8/10. I see immediate PPR FLEX potential and a much bigger long-term ceiling.
Verdict: I’m buying Antonio Williams again. This isn’t about one big game. It’s about a rookie earning his place in Washington’s future.
