The Heroine with a Thousand Faces

As the youngest member of #TeamPurpleLion, not only have I learned a lot in just the four months we’ve been working together, but I’ve explained a lot of what I’ve learned to others. Sometimes it’s...

It’s been years since I’ve posted much VLD related but consider… beach episode. Everybody’s having fun, looking fly, playing chicken and beach volleyball… and there’s Coran in a beautiful Altean banana hammock with a mustache on the front

I think finding comfort in songs and movies and stories and artists is one of the gentlest ways of coping with the modern horrors and I wish people didn’t see being a fan as something to be mocked. If it comes from a place of love, it’ll always be a good thing

posting anyone's fanfiction, no matter the quality, so the internet can dunk on it is so incredibly unkind. I think people should view fanfiction and the creations others share for free as a gift or privilege, not something you're entitled to. definitely not entitled to mock.

James Marsden as Prince Edward gave us everything that Ryan Gosling gave us as Ken and yet no one even thought he deserved any kind of award for it. He perfected the lovably lost Himbo with a penchant for a musical moment.

To add to this: characters are moving parts of a greater narrative. They are tools of storytelling, they can be metaphorical, allegorical, symbolic. People are *not*.

Today, 7 years ago, episode 7 aired. It gave us the iconic Viktuuri kiss scene, and it's the highest-rated Yuri!!!! on ice episode on IMDb (8.6/10) Fun fact: the impact of this episode caused several platforms, such as Crunchyroll, to crash.
