Thank you, Shri @NitinNabin ji, for your kind words and encouragement in recognising Goa’s rich tribal heritage. ‘Forest Recipes of Goa’ is a heartfelt effort to document and preserve the age-old culinary traditions and indigenous knowledge of our tribal forest communities.

A foundation stone was laid for the improvement of the existing road from Gokuldas Gawas’ house to Tukaram Gawas’ house at Zarme, with an investment of ₹1 crore. The project will upgrade the existing kaccha road through slope correction, a strengthened laterite stone surface and the construction of PCC and RCC retaining walls to stabilise the adjoining embankment and prevent soil erosion. These essential improvements will help address monsoon-related risks, enhance road safety and ensure more reliable, all-weather connectivity for the local community. Sincere thanks to the BJP-led Government and the Public Works Department (PWD) for their continued commitment to strengthening rural infrastructure and ensuring safer, more reliable connectivity for our villages. With sustained support and focused efforts, we continue to turn local needs into meaningful development on the ground.

Better connectivity begins with safer, well-lit roads. The foundation stone has been laid for three streetlight projects covering the stretches from Thane–Golauli Junction to Golauli village (Pillai Houses), Thane–Kajryakadil Junction to Hivre village, and Charavane–Hivre Junction to Charavane village. With a combined investment of ₹30.63 lakh, these works will bring 140 LED streetlights and 4 km of new streetlight lines to the area, improving nighttime visibility, road safety and convenience for residents. This progress reflects the BJP-led Government’s commitment to strengthening essential infrastructure and addressing the everyday needs of our villages. A new chapter in learning and digital empowerment for Mauxi, as we inaugurated the renovated Village Panchayat Library with an investment of ₹15 lakh under the Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment 2023–24 for Children and Adolescents’ Libraries and Digital Infrastructure. Inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to empower citizens through education, technology and access to knowledge, this initiative reflects the continued focus of the BJP-led Government on bringing development to the grassroots and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach our people. The renovation includes civil works, furniture, electrical improvements, and the provision of computers and a television, creating a more welcoming and technology-enabled learning space. This library will provide children, adolescents and students with opportunities to read, explore digital resources, strengthen their knowledge and develop essential computer skills. A significant step towards strengthening waste management in Sattari, the ₹25 lakh Material Recovery Facility at Village Panchayat Mauxi is now inaugurated under the Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0 (Gramin), bringing us closer to a cleaner and more sustainable village. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, who has consistently emphasised that cleanliness is a collective responsibility, this initiative marks another step towards strengthening scientific waste management at the grassroots. Laid foundation for the reconstruction of the Dhond Shed and improvement of the area behind Talkameshwar Temple, Parye Panchayat. This work aims to improve the surrounding space, provide better facilities for devotees and community members, and ensure that this important local place remains well-maintained and accessible for religious and community activities. Our temples and their surroundings are an integral part of our cultural identity and community life. Improving these spaces is a step towards preserving our traditions while meeting the needs of our people.

The coconut-breaking ceremony was held for the repair of the existing gutter at Ranewada, Parye Panchayat, with a project cost of ₹6.75 lakh.
