"Sell United and f*k off home" sing MUFC fans, the only good thing about the club right now. And it's right. The Glazers have made their money many times over for 21 years. Fans never wanted it and that takeover should never have been allowed. Do the right thing: sell up and go.

A blood-letting of unprecedented scale in the Stretford End in that second-half. “Sell United and fuck off home.” “You can stick your new stadium up your arse.” Bonfire chant for Glazers + Jim Ratcliffe. Jason Wilcox also a target. Players booed. #MUFC

Resale through the club’s system is unlikely at this stage, but transferring your ticket to an Official Member who can attend remains an option.

Following contact from supporters affected by travel disruption, we raised this with the club this morning and have received reassurance that missing today’s game because of weather-related cancellations will not count against minimum usage or affect season ticket renewal.

Replying to @elonmusk
@elonmusk Elon, I want to tell you something as a Ukrainian. For years, many people in Ukraine admired and respected you. I was one of them. I personally saw you as a technological genius, a visionary, someone who was building the future while others were still living in the past. And that is exactly why your growing hostility toward Ukraine is so difficult for me to understand. Ukraine is not a perfect country. We have corruption, political failures, and many problems. Nobody denies that. But tell me, which country is perfect? Ukraine is also a country of incredibly talented engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, developers, artists, and ordinary hardworking people. We build world-class technology, innovate under impossible conditions, value education, and have repeatedly shown the world what courage, resilience, and human dignity look like. We are a country that voluntarily gave up the world's third-largest nuclear arsenal in exchange for security assurances. We are a nation that stood up in 2014, during the Revolution of Dignity, because we refused to live under authoritarianism and Russian domination. We wanted freedom, democracy, and the right to choose our own future. And today, we are fighting for that same freedom. Every day, Ukrainian civilians are killed by Russian missiles, drones, and bombs. Children lose their parents. Parents bury their children. Entire cities are destroyed. Millions of lives have been shattered. These people are not dying because of Zelenskyy. They are not dying because of Ukrainian corruption. They are dying because Putin chose to invade another sovereign nation and continues to wage a war against its people, cities, culture, and identity. Yes, corruption must be fought. Yes, every dollar of international aid must be accounted for. Ukrainians themselves deserve transparency and justice more than anyone. But corruption does not justify invasion. Political failures do not justify bombing children. And no amount of criticism of Ukraine changes who crossed the border with an invading army. You seem to believe that giving up Donbas and Luhansk could bring peace. But why should we believe Putin would stop there? He already violated Ukraine's sovereignty after promising to respect it. He took Crimea in 2014. He fueled war in Donbas. And in 2022, he launched a full-scale invasion. What makes you think another territorial concession would finally satisfy him? History has shown us what happens when democracies believe they can secure lasting peace by rewarding an aggressor with someone else's land. We have seen this before, in Europe, in the years leading up to World War II. Peace built on surrender to a dictator is not necessarily peace. Sometimes it is simply an invitation to the next war. Elon, you are a man who talks about the future of humanity, about making civilization better, about taking humanity to Mars. But what kind of future are we building if we accept that powerful dictators can erase smaller nations simply because they have more weapons? Ukraine is not asking the world to pretend we are perfect. We are asking the world to recognize that we have the same right to exist, to be free, and to determine our future as Americans do. And one more thing: Ukrainians have never been your enemies. Many of us admired you, believed in your vision, and appreciated what Starlink made possible during the darkest days of this war. That is why your words hurt more than you might realize. You have enormous influence. Your voice can shape how millions of people understand this war. I still want to believe that the man who dreams of advancing humanity can recognize the humanity of people fighting simply to survive. It is not too late to stand on the right side of history. Not on Zelenskyy's side. Not on any politician's side. On the side of freedom. On the side of human life. On the side of a nation's right to exist. That is all we are asking for. 🇺🇦

The club have started a new stadium survey and there have been a number of questions from supporters raised with us. In particular how will they ensure they can identify and verify match going supporters and break down between STHs, Members, Execs etc. This is an important point and no doubt many match going fans will have been asking the same question. There is significant distrust on this issue so we raised this with the club today. The club said that validation is done prior to analysis so they will weed out submissions by bots and fake accounts. So they will only include submissions from supporters using the custom link in the email or, for those who did not receive the email (including because of email preferences), they can use the website link and their submission will be validated using their supporter ID, name and email. They will then be able to segment the data based on supporter type. Only the first received submission from any validated supporter will be included. Obviously there are strong views held by many supporters on the new stadium project but hopefully this information is useful to those who were raising this question. Also, along with TRA and 1958 we requested that the results of the previous survey, in particular the new stadium vs redevelopment question, were published including the breakdown by supporter type and we're told this has now been done. – at Urmston, England

Today marks three years since football lost a global icon. How lucky we were to have Sir Bobby Charlton as the consummate ambassador for Manchester United, England and the sport we love. Easy to admire. Impossible to forget. Eternal in our hearts ❤️

Imagine if Europe, in the days after 9/11, had cleared its throat and announced: We have struck a tremendous deal with Osama bin Laden. We have lifted the sanctions on his organization, so he is now free to trade on the open market and bankroll his war against the United States. Bush must step down. The man has no cards. Has he even looked at his hand? But no. Europe did nothing of the sort. Europe did not sit down with a mass murderer and come home gushing about what a strong and reasonable fellow he turned out to be. Europe laced up its boots, flew to Afghanistan, stood shoulder to shoulder with the Americans and hunted that bearded wretch through every godforsaken mountain in the country, because that is what you do when a friend gets hit, and handing the attacker a shopping list while telling the victim to surrender is what you do when you have lost your mind.

Hi David, have you or your PR company ever been paid by Man City or any related MCFC entity for PR advice and / or promotion of their narrative, or received benefit-in-kind gifts for tweeting / writing / promoting their version of events? Thanks in advance for your swift response
Wondering if the Premier League could send @ManCity a cheque for the soaring revenues the massive global interest in our games is drawing.... Sunday's game may be the most watched ever in many global broadcast markets... bonuses all round at the PL!

Request: If you see or hear MCFC current / former employees (especially players and managers) giving pro-City views on the "115" case, pls tweet me examples / links as I research whether they have paid deals with City to do so, for example as paid ambassadors for the club. Thanks

Pep, for example, according to multiple recent reports, is a (paid) Global Ambassador for City Football Group (CFG). So his ludicrous statement tweet last week ("my chairman, my owner"), looks like paid-for PR guff written by a PR person / company that he was asked to release.
Request: If you see or hear MCFC current / former employees (especially players and managers) giving pro-City views on the "115" case, pls tweet me examples / links as I research whether they have paid deals with City to do so, for example as paid ambassadors for the club. Thanks

90 years ago today, Oswald Mosley and his Blackshirts attempted to march through and intimidate a predominantly Jewish area of the East End. Men, women and children, alongside local residents, trade unionists and anti-fascist protesters, came together to defend the community in what became known as the Battle of Cable Street. They taught us an important lesson: communities can resist fascism by joining together. Hate and antisemitism had no place in London then, and it has no place here now.

The one single factor that convinces me of City’s guilt is not even the verdict any more, it’s their owners behaviour after it was made public The arrogance, the corruption and the entitlement drips from everything they say and do.

The Coates family are worth billions, yet throughout their ownership of @stokecity we've still had to operate within the same rules as everyone else. They've invested hugely in Stoke-on-Trent, creating jobs through Bet365 and contributing millions to local charities, education and the NHS. But none of that gives them, or anyone else, a free pass on football's financial regulations. If the allegations against Man City are proven, the ramifications are enormous. The damage done to the integrity of the game would be immeasurable. Yet all we seem to hear is denial and deflection. Personally, I hope the Premier League throw the book at them.
The UAE owners have invested billions into Manchester and have helped transform the local economy, creating thousands of jobs and opportunities for people. The Etihad Campus alone has supported around 14,000 jobs, with the latest £300m+ development expected to create another 2,600 jobs. So if the Premier League thinks it can push Manchester City into a situation where the owners pull back their investment, a lot of people are going to feel it. Workers will lose jobs. Businesses will lose customers. The local economy will lose billions in investment. This isn't just about football anymore. Keep playing with 115 if you want. Just remember that there are real people and real jobs behind that investment.

One of the greatest players I've ever had the privilege to see. In a day and age where prices are bandied around like confetti I honestly don't think you could put a price on what his capabilities were. Now, you get one type of midfielder who sits on one position, passes it 10 yards max and it worth £100m. Then you get another type of midfielder who adds average attacking thrust. Another £100m Then, you have captains who don't open their fucking mouths for 90 minutes, called" leaders ". Another £100m He was a team's best defender, best holding midfielder, best leader, best attacking midfielder and most important match winner. Priceless. Truly priceless.
45 years ago today, Bryan Robson signed for United A defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder, he could head, tackle, score goals, the most complete footballer I’ve ever seen and he carried the team and a whole generation of fans along with him

Football no longer belongs to supporters. It belongs to balance sheets, boardrooms, and billionaires seeking leverage, but, overall, to corruption. Reset it all.
