Chicago might be better positioned to be a long-term threat/archrival of the 49ers — who have Brock Purdy just entering his prime — in the NFC than any other team in the conference.
Seattle has yet to prove they can sustain a title-caliber offense. LA’s at the end of the Stafford era. The Bears have Caleb Williams, Ben Johnson, and now a real shot to be above water defensively with Jeffery Simmons.
That balance is the only way to sustainably contend
As a Seahawks fan it’s a bummer to have 3 close losses, but they’re Super Bowl Champions and the team that thinks they should’ve been the Champions and were the ‘Offseason Champions’ are now 2-4!
Seahawks are now 0-2 in redzone defense! They’re giving up somewhere close to 90% TD’s in the redzone! We can talk about K9 and Sam or Rasheed all we want, but they’d be 5-0 with just NFL average redzone defense!
The Seahawks redzone defense is atrocious and will be the downfall of this team if Mike can’t fix it ASAP!

As great as John Schneider is, he really fumbled (pun intended) by not tagging K9! Not only would they have an explosive RB who never fumbles, but they could’ve used their 1st round pick on a DB.

49ers were 3 for 3 for TD’s in the redzone today and 1 for 1 on 2 point plays. Seahawks are #1 in Defense outside of the redzone and DEAD LAST in Defense inside the redzone!
Seahawks didn’t deserve that game! 49ers were 3 for 3 for TD’s in the redzone and really 4 for 4 if you include the 2 point play. Redzone defense has been HORRIFIC this year! At into that the shit ball security and this is the result you deserve!
Khalil Barnes is a mysterious disappointment to me. When he arrived at Clemson he seemed like the perfect Dabo guy who was overlooked by UGA out of HS who came in with a great attitude and work ethic. I never would’ve guessed that he would’ve quit on the team and acted so entitled!
I was hoping we would get Coach Venables back, but I’m also very happy for him!
