BUCKLE UP - Music Review thread incoming
I first saw @HawksleyWorkman back in my University years, at the Starlight Lounge in Waterloo, Ontario. A friend of a roommate had not stopped talking about him and his live shows, and I had never heard of him before, so I decided to go.

Also, Ward 1 - you are embarrassing - you legit had the chance to have the best councillor and you fumbled it. I'm so mad.

Vote for the only candidate ready to take Ford nation down. The only candidate with the expertise, and experience to move Etobicoke North towards the progress we deserve. The time is now #Ward1 - get out today and VOTE!

BC election data shows 52% of voters stayed home.
Global data shows all things being equal proportional elections have higher turnout than systems built solely on single-winner-ridings, because proportional representation means everyone feels they have a voice.
I'm always astounded how confident and smug people from Canada are in the comment sections when something terrible happens bc of US policy - meanwhile we are spiraliing towards uber conservatism - we arent so great either guys - this is what happens when you are apathetic.

We’re an ableist city, and it’s time we took care of EVERYONE, regardless of age or ability. We need to create a stronger North Etobicoke where residents can not only survive, but thrive.
It’s time to make your voice heard.
See you at the polls, Ward 1!
Mandatory voting would have ensured a proportional vote - instead the loudest minority will make everyone else suffer.
