Dead Horse Point State Park and Canyonlands National Park are by far my favorite two areas to chase during the monsoon season in the desert southwest. This particular scene is one of a few favorites from an eventful night last week while chasing there.

Here are some more grabs from the #tornado outbreak across Illinois yesterday! Did anyone else get the fat stovepipe tornado that was ongoing at the same time as the original Newton, IL was roping out back to the West? I turned around and all of a sudden a monster was on my butt. Then dropping South before dark I observed the next tornado near Enfield before the day finally ended. All in all I documented 6-7 tornadoes from this full scale outbreak under very difficult chasing conditions with terrain and the shear number of storms producing tornadoes. After muffing the Effingham day, the grind was FINALLY worth it! #ILwx
