Inhaling airborne nutrients or 'aeronutrients' (vitamins, fatty acids and trace minerals) from natural environments might confer health benefits.

I’m On air tonight at 5.20pm with @SharriMarkson on @SkyNews to talk about how the current school food environment isn’t fuelling our children’s brain nor their education - plus more!
Did you know? It’s a berry fun fact! 🤷🏻♀️Those little hairs are also called “styles”. 😅
Raspberries are high in ellagitannins- a bioactive that’s not found in many foods.
One more reason to love berries. 💕

Hibernation for humans is possible for deep space missions. @BCMSpaceHealth already funded 4 projects to develop this. Excited to see this @NatMetabolism study that induces hibernation in mice with safe ultrasound pulses to brain. Deep sleep here I come

and research shows it has a similar function in the body and that our body does utilises the D2 (fungi) vs D3 (animal) in a similar way. The only difference is that D2 may not be used medically for a vitamin D bolus injection.
There's an incorrect comment later in the show about vitamin D2 not doing the same thing as D3 read out from a caller.
Research shows that the vitamin D2 is not only well absorbed, but it increases vitamin D levels just like animal foods do (D3)
One of those epic moments where you say something that really resonates meaningfulness to someone 🥰
I was just talking to @drflavs & she said something that resonated hard with me (being someone who often is speaking up and pushing back) -
"It's ok to ruffle the feathers, as long as you don't kill the bird".
Lovely to see you too! 💕
Had a great day today at #dietitiansunite. Thank you @DNconnection for the invitation to speak. My 1st in person event in a v long time & it was lovely. Great to see people in 3D including @drflavs (who always leaves me feeling lifted)
& @Brooke_Harcourt who is a positive force

Epic study looking at food waste from cradle to grave. It’s a super detailed look at the end-to-end food lifecycle and where waste is created.
🏠 It’s a good idea to reduce your household food waste, which comprises of 1/3 of global food waste.
What do you think is the reason that whole foods have such a high value in food culture? 🍌

Did you know? Essential minerals including iron, calcium, zinc, and selenium to name a few, cannot be destroyed by cooking or freezing. Potassium can leech into water when boiling but it’s not actually destroyed. 💪🏼

Did you know that the term diet means “way of life”?
Diet culture has unfortunately destroyed the true meaning of the word- which translates from Latin “diaeta” - prescribed way of life; or from Greek “diata” - way of life.
Either or- it’s a holistic approach to food and eating.
How often do you look in your toilet to see how your gut is doing? 🚽🧻💩
It’s great and objective measure of health, and I suggest you do, if you don’t already.
