Christian nationalists have more in common with tyrannical Islamic theocrats than any American Founder. They believe in a state administered religion. They believe that men should have full control over women's bodies. They believe in criminalizing homosexuality. They believe in violently enforcing their moral worldview on others. They reject freedom of speech. They reject freedom of religion. They reject the separation of Church and State. And if you give them power, they'll be just as destructive and dangerous as the Ayatollah Khomeini.
