Yesterday I spent the day visiting communities in Laguna, Thoreau, Crownpoint, and Iyanbito’s Chapter House.
From seeing the devastating impacts of flooding to sharing conversations with New Mexicans dealing with the challenges of living in a rural area, I’ll always show up.
New Mexico’s strength will always lie in our care for our neighbors.

Today we FINISHED our 93 County Tour!
We visited ALL 93 counties of Nebraska. We held town halls, we held rallies, we had conversations in diners, on farms, at truck stops, and on front porches.
We drove through the Sandhills, across the Panhandle, and down a whole lot of gravel roads.
THANK YOU to everyone who opened up their town, their business, or their home to us. "Nebraska nice" isn't just a saying, it's a way of life, and I'm so proud to be from this state.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. Let's bring it home.

Mike Lawler’s disastrous record includes:
- Voting to ban states from regulating AI for 10 years.
- Voting to give data center developers $80 billion in tax breaks + voting to make it easier to build them.
As your member of Congress, I will:
- Enact guardrails on AI to ensure it doesn’t pose a threat to our national security.
- Take on Mike Lawler’s Big Tech and trillionaire backers to prevent these data center developers from exploiting our communities, harming our environment, and jacking up our utility rates.

When local businesses thrive, the Lowcountry thrives. Thank you Bill Dunleavy of Dunleavy’s Pub, Ashley Martin of Goldbug, and Julie Dare Cooke of Sandpiper Gallery for welcoming me to Sullivan’s Island and telling me what’s working, what isn’t, and what you need from DC.

We just learned more about Trump’s Venezuela oil deal, and here’s everything you need to know:
1. This deal is structured to hide the identities of people who stand to profit from it.
You don’t hide that unless you have a reason to. And the man whose firm Trump just bought a 35% stake in? Alejandro Betancourt, a Venezuelan billionaire who has faced several money-laundering investigations around the world.
2. Don’t expect cheaper gas anytime soon.
Experts have been telling us for MONTHS that oil production in Venezuela isn’t going to lower U.S. gas prices anytime soon. Betancourt’s company is able to deliver as much oil in a year as the U.S. uses in a few days. Anyone promising this deal will bring down prices at the pump is selling you lies.
3. If there’s a legal fight over this agreement, it has to go through a Texas court that Trump’s DOJ has repeatedly turned to for favorable rulings.
4. This deal creates a board designed to be shielded from oversight and accountability. Trump’s own Treasury Secretary wasn’t able to give Congress basic answers or audits when he testified about Venezuela just last month. But we should blindly trust them now?
So let’s recap: Americans aren’t going to feel relief at the pump. The identity of the people involved is conveniently hidden from us. And legal disputes go to a specific court that disproportionately rules in Trump’s favor.
Whatever you think American foreign policy towards Venezuela should be, Congress and the public deserve to know who’s involved and where the money is going.

Four weeks after giving birth, Adela Nohemy Castellanos was torn from her newborn son and family. Today, she and her daughter Sofia are still locked away at the Dilley Trailer Prison. I’m going to Dilley this week to see Adela and Sofia, and push for their release.
Adela’s case has been re-opened, taking deportation off the table for now. But she is still detained, away from her newborn, partner, and children.
A postpartum mother and her little girl don’t belong in a prison. They should be reunited with their family.

Ann Wagner is doing a media tour this week....really. Telling them how this was her plan to wait until the end when people are paying attention. She's right. About 100 people in Truesdale in Warren County showed up last night to hear from the candidates. We could be there in person, send a video, and/or send team members to man a table. Ann did none of that. She skipped it. Yes, people are paying attention. After she's burned $5.7 million to try and stay in office...she can't even bother to cut a video for her own constituents. She is a coward.

There’s nothing like a hometown welcome. Thank you, Tallahassee! 💙🇺🇸
Being home on the Believe in Better tour meant familiar faces, big hugs, and just the boost I needed for this final stretch.
David and I have more miles to cover and more conversations to have, but today you sent us back on the road with renewed energy and plenty to smile about.
