And yet, despite their emotion, none of the men are strangling any children over it.
A stunning concept.

If Lindsay Clancy is found not guilty of murdering her 3 children due to hormones, then they can argue that that men rape because of testosterone.

ADDRESS BY THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT, HOUSE OFFICERS' FORUM OF NIGERIA (HOFN) ON DAY 2 OF THE NATIONWIDE WARNING STRIKE
25th June, 2026
Dear Colleagues,
Today marks Day 2 of our nationwide strike.
Yesterday, following the commencement of our industrial action, we witnessed a positive development as the May salary was paid, and some of our colleagues have also begun to receive parts of their outstanding salary arrears. We acknowledge this development and commend all stakeholders who played a role in making this possible.
However, while this progress is appreciated, it does not fully address the longstanding challenges confronting House Officers across the country.
Our struggle has never been solely about one month's salary. It is about dignity, accountability, respect for labour, and the establishment of a transparent system that protects the welfare of House Officers nationwide.
Consequently, our demands remain as follows:
1. That the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) formally addresses House Officers regarding the concerns raised.
2. Provision of clear assurances and mechanisms to guarantee the timely payment of June salary and subsequent salaries.
3. Full payment of all outstanding salary arrears owed to affected House Officers.
4. Provision of payslips to all House Officers as a basic right and essential employment record.
Colleagues, your unity, resilience, and discipline over the last 24 hours have demonstrated that House Officers across Nigeria can speak with one voice when our collective welfare is threatened.
I urge every House Officer to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and resolute. Let us continue to conduct ourselves with the highest level of professionalism throughout this struggle.
We remain open to genuine dialogue and constructive engagement with the relevant authorities. Nevertheless, until our legitimate concerns are adequately addressed, we shall continue to stand united in pursuit of justice and fairness.
To every House Officer across the Federation, I say: stay strong, stay united, and do not be intimidated.
Together, we shall prevail.
Dr. Emeku Iheanyi
National President
House Officers' Forum of Nigeria (HOFN)

What the FG is doing to House officers is really unfair
House officers are literally the work engine of medicine.
They are the ATP and fuel powering Medicine
Not paying them their May Salaries as at June 23, 2026 is totally inhumane and injustice.
Why do they have to beg every month for their dues for which they have toiled, worked and labored for.
They have their lives to cater for, some are supporting their familes, some have bills to cater for.
You cannot treat Doctors this way.
This is unfair

On this special day, we celebrate our children, the shining stars who carry the promise of tomorrow. You are the heartbeat of our state and the reason we work tirelessly to build a brighter future.
Since the beginning of our administration, we have consistently invested 20% of Abia’s annual budget in education, meeting the UNESCO benchmark. Our administration remains firmly committed to ensuring that every child in Abia has access to free, quality, and compulsory education. Already, thousands of teachers have been recruited, smart schools are being established, and classrooms are being expanded to give you the tools to dream, to learn, and to achieve.
We apologize for the years when education was neglected, but I assure you that never again will the future of our children be relegated. Together, we are building a generation that is confident, resilient, and ready to lead.
To our parents and guardians, thank you for embracing this vision. To our teachers, thank you for your sacrifices and dedication. And to our children, remember: your future is bright, but nothing replaces hard work and discipline.
❤️Happy Children’s Day!
There are places we pass through in life… and there are places that become part of who we are.
Manchester will forever be my home.
To the city, the club, and every supporter, my sincerest thank you. These past four years have been unforgettable, filled with moments my family and I will carry with us for the rest of our lives. There simply aren’t enough words to describe the happiness and warmth we’ve felt here.
Thank you for every cheer, every memory, and for making us feel at home from the very first day.
Forever a Red Devil ❤️

Today, we celebrate the heartbeat of our state: the hardworking men and women who keep Abia moving forward. Your dedication, resilience, and integrity inspire the “New Abia” we are building together.
Since assuming office, our administration has prioritized the welfare of workers through consistent salary and pension payments, improved wages, better working conditions, and reforms that promote productivity and fairness in various sectors. We have also invested in workplace infrastructure and expanded employment opportunities to strengthen the public service and empower our people.
Our commitment remains unwavering: to ensure that every worker in Abia enjoys dignity, fairness, and reward for honest labour.
As we mark this Workers’ Day, let us continue to build a state where hard work truly pays and excellence is celebrated.
Happy International Workers’ Day!

🚨 UPDATE: The Warri House Officer Has Died.
With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Dr. Ogbomade Samson Romani, the House Officer at Central Hospital, Warri, who slumped earlier this week and was admitted into the ICU.
He died in the early hours of yesterday.💔
Dr. Samson, as he was fondly called, was described by colleagues as hardworking, respectful, and dedicated to his duty. He was a graduate of Niger Delta University (NDU).
This is not just another obituary.
In February, Dr. Samson was brutally beaten for nearly 20 minutes by hoodlums allegedly arranged by a patient’s relative. He sustained serious facial and abdominal injuries and had struggled with his health ever since.
His attackers were never arrested.
Now he is gone.
Reports indicate he was laid to rest shortly after his passing.
This marks the second doctor from NDU lost this week. It is a double blow for the NDU alumni and the entire medical community at large. 🎓
We again call on the Delta State Government and relevant authorities:
- Why were the February attackers never arrested?
- What protections are in place for healthcare workers?
- How many more young doctors must die before action is taken?
Dr. Ogbomade Samson Romani was beaten while serving the public. He deserved protection. He deserved justice. He deserved to live.
May his soul rest in peace.

🚨 BREAKING: Another Warri Doctor in ICU After Systemic Failure.
We have just received a devastating update. A House Officer at Central Hospital, Warri, slumped yesterday and is currently fighting for his life in the ICU.
This is not just a "collapse." This is the tragic result of a system that abandoned him months ago.
In February, this same doctor was beaten for 20 minutes by hoodlums arranged by a patient's relative. The first 5 minutes of that beating happened at the hospital gate, right where the security post was, while guards were slow to respond.
He sustained severe facial and abdominal injuries. He has not been the same since. Since that day, he has been in and out of sickness, unable to function at full capacity, yet still trying to serve a system that failed to protect him.
While his attackers were never caught and the hospital moved on, this young doctor carried the physical complications of that assault alone.
Yesterday, during a meeting to discuss the recent Saturday attack on his colleagues, he excused himself because he felt unwell. On his way to the hostel to rest, he slumped and collapsed on the ground.
If he had been the one on duty this past Saturday, he would have faced another round of beating while yet to recover from the first. Our hospitals are no longer safe.
We are calling on the Delta State Government: Why were the February attackers never arrested? Why was this doctor left to suffer without justice?
He was beaten for serving you. Now he is in the ICU. We demand justice.

Integrity Pays.
Someone reached out to me after everything that happened and commended how I handled the situation with calmness and clarity.
What surprised me the most is that, this person has just one follower and follows nobody.
It reminded me that people are always watching, even when you don’t realize it.
The unexpected part is that he sent ₦400,000, asking me to share ₦300,000 with my followers and keep ₦100,000 for myself.
I was honestly surprised because I’ve never received such gift from a total stranger.
And it didn’t stop there. A few others have also reached out, offering support, not just for me, but for this community.
All because of how things were handled.
This is a reminder
Always stand for what is right.
Handle situations with integrity.
You may not see it immediately, but one day, it pays.
God bless our anonymous 🙏🏾
Thank you.
President Sambo
