CAPD is a messaging service built into Nexa full nodes. It is short-lived, decentralized, and anonymous, and messages are looked up by their content. It's broadcast-only and best-effort: messages sit in each node's message pool ("msgPool") for a limited time, then expire. They're never written to the blockchain. Proof-of-work discourages spam. CAPD is a messaging service built into Nexa full nodes. It is short-lived, decentralized and anonymous, and messages are looked up by their content. It's broadcast-only and best-effort: messages sit in each node's message pool ("msgPool") for a limited time, then expire. They're never written to the blockchain. Proof-of-work discourages spam. Two ideas I'm exploring: 1) Agent-to-agent discovery & messaging Agents broadcast what they offer or need, tagged with an app-specific prefix. Peers can filter messages by their first 16 bytes. Other agents pick up matching messages with capd list / capd get, so there's no central directory. The spec also names low-bandwidth messaging between two parties behind firewalls as a use case. 2) Open-outcry P2P trading between agents Nexa's CAPD write-up says it enables an "open-outcry" communication style. Trade offers can carry partial transactions, and anyone listening can complete one and submit it to finalize the trade. Nexa's sighash design supports these multi-party partial transactions. Agents shout bids and offers; settlement happens on-chain between the two sides. Caveats: delivery is best-effort with no guarantees. If you're offline, you can miss messages. This is a concept/testnet experiment only. No mainnet use, no exchange or custody service run by anyone, and not financial advice.

Contest ends tomorrow at midnight PST. To date, we have one 0.01 BTC winner for advancing the CPU miner by >10%.
My little $40 FPGA can beat your big bad GPU. Prove me wrong and win 0.1 BTC. I designed a proof-of-work called BRAM-ring. A $40 Efinix Tz170 does 37,100 H/s on it. The best anyone has managed on a GPU is 1,493 H/s, on a $499 RTX 3070. Per dollar the little chip wins by more than 100×, and I don't think any GPU, CPU, NPU or other off-the-shelf hardware can close that gap. The bounty: • 0.1 BTC to the first person who shows non-FPGA hardware at or above 371 H/s per dollar • 0.01 BTC every time someone beats my GPU or CPU kernel by 10% (bit-exact, measured on my machine, the bar ratchets) • 0.01 BTC for a real shortcut in the function: half the work per hash, counted not timed How to claim: reply to this tweet with the full 40-character git commit hash of your code and the prize you're claiming. Your code can stay private until the deadline; the hash fixes your place in line. Deadline: 4 November 2026, 23:59 Pacific. Rules: git.nodelabs.ca/nexapow/bram… Code (make prove checks C, AVX2, CUDA and Verilog against the same 8 vectors): git.nodelabs.ca/nexapow/bram… Prize pool 0.2 BTC, held at bc1qtk8q5nsupm47kg5vz9turqacx8lg2whvxukpuj. Signed proof of funds in the first reply and in BOUNTY.md.

Nexa's AI Skills got an update this week: one skill for developing the Wally wallet, and one for running a private local chain. If you've ever wanted to build something on @NexaMoney but didn't know where to start, this is the most direct path I've seen.

I’ve watched great OG projects get sidelined while meme coins trend. CEX mismanagement is pushing trust back to DEXs—transparent, community-first, and built to last. The future is decentralized.
1/ 🧵 Yesterday a single compromised laptop was reportedly enough to push around $6 billion in unauthorised withdrawals out of the biggest exchange in crypto, and while Binance says users will be covered, the lesson is bigger than one exchange: whoever holds the keys holds the risk.

Not your keys not your coins. Market reacted very harshly when @binance delisted us, when in hindsight it could be the best thing that can happen to a project which requires decentralization to become valuable.

📒 New Release: Libnexa-TS 3.1.0 With Read-Only Inputs The Nexa ecosystem infrastructure is constantly being developed and improved, and this time it is our pleasure to present Libnexa-TS 3.1.0, a new release with read-only inputs. Libnexa-TS is an open-source library and provides a reliable SDK for TypeScript/JavaScript apps that need to interface with the Nexa network. It’s designed for developers and now supports read-only inputs, which allow multiple transactions to access the same data, and it is useful for UTXO smart contracts and token authorities. Find all the details and read more on the Nexa forum below. 👇

Great explanation of NEXA’s Tailstorm 🔥👀 @NexaMoney #cryptogems #blockchain
Every 10 minutes, one miner wins and the rest lose. That's not a bug in Bitcoin's design — it's the model. Nexa is building something different. It's called Tailstorm.

Nexa uses a Proof-of-Work system to ensure security and decentralization. Nexa links UTXO assets to on-chain payments, ensuring efficient and secure transaction processing. @NexaMoney #NexaBlockchain

A hash-based DA is information theoretical floor for safety/security in blockchain modular design. Any other complexity other than reproducing the full payload and validating the hash will degrade security in some way either adding statistical risk, economic risk or cryptographic risk to the underlying mechanism design.

WHY I CHOSE NEXA My Journey Since 2023 Out of thousands of coins, why did I choose Nexa? I’ve been following Nexa since 2023. What keeps me here is the vision—and my desire to see that vision become something people actually use. The waiting hasn’t always been easy. But I keep watching the development, asking questions, and looking at what is being built. Today, Tailstorm is undergoing testing and hardening ahead of activation. Its planned integration brings a DAG of subblocks into Nexa’s architecture, aiming for faster transaction confidence. Blitz takes another approach to scaling: dedicated hardware designed to move digital signature verification off the CPU. That is why its development interests me. NexScript is also evolving, giving developers more tools for building smart contracts. The 2026–2027 roadmap connects these efforts with broader ambitions: developer infrastructure, Tokadex, Wrapped Bitcoin, and planned upgrades for post-quantum signatures and lightweight verification. These are goals to follow—not guaranteed outcomes. Delivery, security, and real adoption will matter. For me, Nexa’s future depends on turning engineering into useful applications. That is why I’m still here. Following since 2023. Still asking questions. Still looking forward. Why did YOU choose Nexa? #nexa #btc #eth #usdt @NexaMoney @B1ackt34

📒 Hardware Acceleration: Nexa Node on an FPGA In the last article we met Blitz, the card that takes signature checking off the CPU. We closed with a bigger question: what happens when you put the whole node inside an FPGA? We don’t like running a node on our main desktop machine, especially when it is bogging down all cores, the fans are blazing and the office is heating up. We want to run it on a tiny little node that we plug into the router and just SSH into when we need to. That is the long game of this series: building a microchip for cryptocurrency, a microchip that can do the same thing as your software node, but is faster, more reliable, uses less energy, and can be built for a fraction of the cost. That chip is still ahead of us, but there are a lot of useful things we can do directly in hardware in the meantime. Read more on the Nexa forum below. 👇

We went with UTXO + EVM because the settlement layer should be purposefully slow and robust. UTXO is merged with @bitcoin and EVM allows for expressive smart contracts so you get shared accounting (something UTXO just cannot do safely or without UX fragmentation risk). Besides this the job of the settlement layer is also DA which should be hash based for PQ safety so that expansion off of the EVM is possible. If your bet is on slow purposeful settlement connected to @bitcoin but expanding and scaling throughput through ZK, then you have @syscoin.
