Ms. Gitika Pandey, General Manager, Eastern Railway, witnessed a Nukkad Natak organised by Eastern Railway Vigilance at Eastern Railway Headquarters, Fairlie Place, Kolkata, on 28 October 2026, as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026. Shri Deepak Nigam, Senior Deputy General Manager, Eastern Railway, along with Principal Heads of Departments (PHODs), senior officers and staff, was also present on the occasion. The street play highlighted the importance of honesty, accountability, ethical conduct and rejecting corrupt practices, conveying the message of “Probity for Prosperity” through an engaging performance. Appreciating the team's performance and its contribution towards spreading vigilance awareness, the General Manager announced a cash prize of ₹25,000 for the Nukkad Natak team.
