currently in my studio trying to drain out the carpenter's saw right beside me lmao. idk how ppl find spaces like this. most of what you find is a converted warehouse space with only wall divisions. I envy having an isolated space like this.

went to visit a friend who’s a ceramicist and works in a studio with no phone signal in a tiny yorkshire village. he doesn’t listen to podcasts or music, only occasionally uses the radio, and when I asked him what he thinks about all day he just said “well, pots mostly”
desperately wishing more people considered asking themselves 'this is very cool, but at what cost?' while having as much interest into the latter as they do the former
