XCTestLeaks is taking shape 🚀 , a tool that :
- Runs unit test for iOS app
- Hooks with macOS CLI, helps filtering just the retain cycles
- Outputs a clean HTML report
Already used this approach to fix real leaks in firefox-ios 🦊
More fixes already in 🚧
Here’s a leak report generated from the Kickstarter iOS app 👀
Open-sourcing in progress:

I first learnt about rubber ducking from @herval.
Remote work made it hard. We'd do in whatever tiny window we could find between time zones.
AI agents have started filling that gap too, specially in remote work :')
I've been using agents to rubber duck API designs with me. It's so easy to throw different options at them, compare the tradeoffs, and keep iterating until the design feels right.
Surprisingly feels like having a teammate around to think out loud with.
T-24 days for Hyrox Barcelona, I feel addicted to running 🫠
You have to force yourself to rest as well that's where the actual performance comes from.
Is it just my X feed or were there at least 3 big races over the weekend?
- Melbourne Marathon
- Grizzly Ultra in Canada
- Chicago Marathon
Love seeing people getting into fitness, especially when they’re not fitness influencers. Just people putting in the work on fitness 🫡

I've been experimenting with building low-latency voice agents that run fully on-device (Apple Silicon, MLX) using Kyutai's Moshi, an open-weight, full-duplex speech model. It's genuinely fast and natural to talk to. But I've hit a wall and I'd love help if anyone has cracked it.
The problem: tool calling / function calling with full-duplex models.
Moshi has no tool-calling head. It's a speech-to-speech dialogue model, so there's nowhere to plug a tool result in. My setup: an LLM (via OpenRouter) detects the intent and calls the tool (an orders DB lookup), and the answer has to be spoken by Moshi, in its own voice, not a second TTS voice that would jar the user.
What I tried:
Feed the tool result back into Moshi as input audio ("say this back: …"). I ran a 56-trial test. Only ~7% came back faithful. Moshi treats it as conversation ("Thanks, I appreciate it!") instead of repeating, and once it turned "shipped" into "placed". Not usable.
Force Moshi's text tokens by swapping in a custom text sampler so Moshi has to speak my exact words. This is far better: 79% overall, and short sentences hit ~94% on key facts / ~78% word-for-word. It only works with lower audio-sampling temperature and word timing copied from Moshi's own speech. Lists and long sentences still truncate, and it sometimes slips ("shipped" becomes "dipped").
So I'm stuck between "too unreliable" and "fine-tune a 7B model on a rented GPU."
Questions for anyone building voice AI agents with open-weight models (Moshi, Sesame, Qwen-Omni, MiniCPM-o, etc.):
Has anyone shipped tool calling on a full-duplex model?
Cascade (STT, LLM, TTS), text-forcing, fine-tuning, or a hybrid?
How do you get a model like this to say an exact sentence at ~98% accuracy?
Any papers, repos, or people I should read or follow?
Happy to open-source my test harness and share results. Replies, RTs, and pointers all welcome.
Busy improving the engine 🚀
Norwegian 4×4, 4 min reps at 4:47/km.
Next upgrade: faster recovery between intervals.
Started my day with a sub 50, 10km SkiErg, damper 5 today, thanks for the inspiration @marclou 🚀🚀
I guess we're back in college guys🚀🍺
One of the best investments I did recently @GarminFitness !

20 Maestro tests, built with his agent in minutes, 2 bugs found affecting their push notifications.
I know the impact of finding these bugs - he's working on an app that drives millions of $ a day
Legend @mazenchami
"20+ tests for end-to-end push notification testing. Two bugs we didn't know we had. All our push notification issues in production, fixed. All with Maestro."

Exactly in December this stat was completed in almost 1.5 hours, now less than 1 hour.

🚀 Artemis Mission Simulator Update:
Now you can launch the whole stack in a tmux session using a single command: `artemis liftoff`
The command allows you to load a custom lunar site with a custom mission epoch for your sim clock (this will come handy later)
And yes it comes with a totally unnecessary but beautiful TUI :)

Speaking at Uber Mobi conference this Friday around "Enabling agents to fix iOS memory leaks". Join me learning how we can enable agents to fix memory leaks on iOS. I'll be around Bangalore this week, say 👋 if you are around.

The PR I raised last week as part of my newsletter on the WordPress iOS codebase just got merged. 🙌
This one deserves its own post. This would be my 2nd on wordpress and 5th memory leak fix on open source.
It feels really special to build a tool that not only helps find issues in open source, but also keeps shaping itself through real-world use.
