Intentionally inflammatory but always worth remembering that the orangemen weren't burnt out of their homes during the summer during a racially motivated pogrom

This overly simplistic comparison has been used by so many accounts today to equate abortion to murder. It's nonsense. Abortion & miscarriage (spontenous abortions) in all forms are regular occurrences that serve a purpose for the pregnant person. Semantics won't change that.
Replying to @drorfh
It doesn't make him an authority, but he's correct. D&X is to Abortion As Burying a dead person is to burying someone alive

That purpose can be anything from chromosomal errors, saving a life, protecting life or mental health, alerting to something being wrong or simply because you don't want to be pregnant. This can be a choice for some as it can also be a heart wrenching trauma for others.

The fact that some women feel they need the approval of the local priest before recieving medical care is an abuse of power.
Replying to @drorfh
no he was teaching the difference between what is often said about the catholic church v’s what is reality within the catholic church. when my sister had an ectopic pregnancy our local priest same one we’d seen since school days gave her comfort that a doctor couldn’t.

A lot could be discussed about this abborant comparison but even the sheer fact he said "blacks". A disgusting man with a wild victim fetish.

Weaponising the laws and religious teaching against womens health care needs is immoral. I say this as someone who had both weaponised against me when I needed and abortion.
Replying to @drorfh
Because the question at hand is a legal and moral distinction, of which Catholic priests are aptly suited to discuss

Dear pro lifers....when it comes to women's medical care your moral opinions don't count. This is the bit yous can't seem to grasp.

Dying that this man thinks being a catholic priest makes him an authority on abortion/miscarriage 🤣
A D&C for a dead baby is not an abortion, & not illegal in any US state. Yes, a D&C is an abortion of done on a living baby, but living out dead is a big distinction. I'm literally a Catholic priest who teaches bioethics in the seminary.

Nonsense! Exactly the same procedure. A D&C is an abortion.
Treatment for a miscarriage is NOT an abortion.

Sex work is work that many women, and men, willingly choose. Politicians should work to enact laws to protect those who are being exploited however they should not over reach into impacting bodily autonomy by claiming all sex work is not true consent. Just objectively untrue.
One of the most depressing exchanges in the Assembly was hearing the Alliance Party argue that some women “willingly” choose sex work. It is not true consent, its exploitation, abuse & it involves women being treated as commodities. These websites should be banned.

You are utterly convinced because we literally say this is the reason why 🤣
Utterly convinced the "I love winter and the clocks going back. Give me cosy nights under warm blankets with a pumpkin spice hot chocolate with rain lashing the windows and a £700 gas bill" people are just people who don't leave the house and they like feeling less bad about it.

Imagine being more worked up over state boundaries than you are concerned about children's boundaries.
People offended by objections to this stupid ad show a lack of awareness of the state’s boundaries.

Considering this video shows the OO walking through a shared space unrestricted and being enjoyed by supporters, it further begs the questions of why they feel its necessary to walk through a nationalist residential area....
Parade underway in Portadown. Thousands have turned up in support of local Orangemen who want to march along the Garvaghy Road. @UTVNews

Them actively demonstrating why they have no need to walk down Garvaghy Road is brilliant stuff when you think about it 🤣

It's weird how saying "don't touch children against their will" is so offensive to so SO many people...

Oh the irony🤣
Every time Mary Lou comes to Northern Ireland, Sinn Féin’s ministers look like her supporting cast. Why are they not trusted to speak for themselves?
