4 STATES ENDORSE dRPC'S COMMUNITY-BASED ECCD MODEL FOR PLAY-BASED LEARNING Community-based early learning is gaining momentum as a cost-effective approach to reaching under-five out-of-school children, especially in communities affected by insecurity. At the National ECCD Roundtable convened by dRPC and NIPSS on 27 October 2026 in Abuja, representatives from Borno, Niger, Benue and Sokoto States recognized the value of the model and expressed interest in its adoption and replication. Commissioners from Niger and Benue States also invited dRPC to engage with their respective state governors to explore the next steps. An important step towards expanding access to quality early learning for more children. #Education #ECCDE #dRPC

At a 2-part stakeholder workshop dRPC held in Abuja on Tuesday, 27th October, stakeholders discussed how girls-led community-based ECCD schools and TVET pathways can expand learning, empower young women, and support conflict-affected communities.
