“But above all, I felt a physical kinship with all that lived in the world. I had a right to be here. I was as much a part of this summer night as the insects or the water purling past my feet. . . . we are a part of that world, no more, but certainly no less than the rabbit.”
“For him to be, not so young — he’s older than me — but for him to be that old” 😭😭😭
After Wemby said that having a Wilt Chamberlain night is what he expects of himself, I asked Dylan Harper what it's like to show up to work with a teammate operating on that level.
“He probably won’t say it, but that’s greatness,” Harper said. “For him to be, not so young — he’s older than me — but for him to be that old and just his mindset to go into every game is dominate, dominate, dominate is unlike anyone else I’ve seen.”
the funniest thing after games like these is seeing people react to vic’s performance and claim that wemby doesn’t move them like we know you’re lying 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 or you’re just straight up miserable

Dylan Harper on Wemby:
"He's basically Wilt...His mindset going into every game is dominate, dominate, dominate."
