#Nanapatekar
An extraordinary, genuine outpouring of love, grief, and affection for the legendary Nana Patekar—from the film fraternity, politicians, celebrities, and millions of admirers.
Yet one thought keeps haunting me:
Why do we all wait until someone is gone to tell the world how much they meant to us?
Love also deserves an audience while its recipient is still alive!!

Some actors play characters. Nana Patekar inhabited storms.
Rage, wit, silence, vulnerability—he made every emotion feel dangerously REAL.
Indian cinema has lost a voice, a face, an energy that could never be duplicated.
Rest in peace, Nana. 🙏 #NanaPatekar

“Flat pitch.” Seriously? 🤷♂️
As if cricket discovered flat pitches in Guwahati yesterday.
Here’s the context being ridiculously downplayed:
🏏 149 years of international cricket
🌍 Men + Women | Tests + ODIs + T20Is
📊 ~16,555 matches played
🔥 400+ successfully chased: ONLY 6 TIMES
➡️ Tests: 4
➡️ ODIs: 2
➡️ T20Is: 0
That’s roughly 0.036% of ALL international matches.
And if you’re an Indian fan born after 1976, you have NEVER witnessed India successfully chase 400+ in your lifetime. Until yesterday.
Yes, conditions were batting-friendly. But flat pitches aren’t new. If it was that easy, 0.036% is doing a terrible job of proving it 😀😀! Call it a road if you want. History still says only six cars ever made it to 400!
History is history. Rarity is rarity. And 0.036% is not an opinion.
Let's put some respect on that chase. 🇮🇳🔥

We need a global framework that protects humanity from AI — and AI from humanity.
The most powerful technology humanity has ever built is accelerating — while the world’s power centers remain disjointed, disconnected, and dysfunctional.
We’ve seen this movie before: climate change. COVID. Global crises recognized too late, coordinated too slowly.
AI cannot be governed AFTER the damage is done.
Not to stop innovation.
To make sure innovation doesn’t outrun wisdom.

THREE GOLDS. 🥇🥇🥇
A CLEAN SWEEP of the Compound Team events. 🇮🇳🏹
But somehow, even that doesn’t tell the story.
This wasn’t simply India winning medals at #AsianGames2026.
This was India REDEFINING THE PERFORMANCE BENCHMARK.
🎯 Women’s Team — GOLD, with a 238 that matched the WORLD RECORD
🎯 Mixed Team — GOLD under extraordinary pressure + an #LA28 Olympic quota
🎯 Men’s Team — GOLD with 19 bulls eyes in a row !!
🎯 3 events. 3 titles. COMPLETE SWEEP.
Scores. Precision. Nerves. Consistency. Big-match temperament.
Everything was operating at another level.
There are great days in Indian sport.
There are dominant days.
And then there are days when an entire programme seems to announce:
“THIS is our territory now.” 🇮🇳🔥
Arguably one of the GREATEST days in the history of Indian Archery.
Not just a medal haul.
A STATEMENT OF SUPREMACY. 🏹🇮🇳

#AsianGames2026 #TeamIndia #IndiaAtAsianGames #AichiNagoya2026 #IndianSports #RevSportz - There is a difference between covering sport and building a sports network.
What @BoriaMajumdar and the RevSportz team have done during the Asian Games makes that distinction increasingly clear.
Indian sports media is not short of platforms. It lacks platforms willing to treat sport itself — beyond celebrity, cricket cycles, and headline moments — as the main event.
That is where RevSportz is beginning to create its own Blue Ocean.
The Asian Games coverage has had breadth, access, urgency, context, athlete-first storytelling, and, most importantly, the willingness to stay with stories even when they are not the easiest ones to monetize or sensationalize.
That is not just coverage.
That is institution-building.
And this is why I believe the most interesting RevSportz story is still ahead.
If they keep combining editorial credibility with data, technology, video, original IP, regional reach and global distribution, the ceiling is substantially higher than “another successful sports-media brand.”
The opportunity is to become India’s genuinely sports-first, always-on network.
And once you enter that territory, the benchmark changes.
You stop asking, “How do we compare with the competition?”
You start asking:
“How much bigger can we make the category itself?”
That is the space RevSportz now has the opportunity to own. 🔥🔥

#BCCI - One creative way to stop teams from sitting on a first-innings lead and slowly killing high-scoring Ranji Trophy knockouts or Duleep Trophy matches: make the financial reward for an outright win dramatically bigger.
Offer 3X or 4X the prize money for a result versus a draw.
You may be surprised how quickly a team’s “brain trust” becomes more adventurous when there’s significantly more money on the table. Sometimes, incentives can do what regulations cannot.

While Andrew McDonald and Rob Key are talking about Ben Stokes coming out of retirement for #Ashes, it's creating a buzz; isn’t that openly challenging Stokes ' credibility? - Oh yeah, we have seen this movie before: ODI retirement in 2022-23 😉🙃😊!

Free agency tested LeBron James’s choices, but never his character. He left Los Angeles without bitterness, entered Philadelphia without arrogance, and reminded the sporting world that true greatness is not merely measured by how a king wears the crown—but by the class, elegance, and dignity with which he carries it from one kingdom to the next

@piersmorgan
I was at #ENGvsARG, and every kind of “never happened before” statistic about England’s bizarrely timid play after taking a 1–0 lead is now trending. Most people are blaming Tuchel; the rest are questioning the players’ ability.
But here is my question: this horror show did not happen in the blink of an eye. It unfolded over 40-plus minutes, with a hydration break thrown in for good measure.
Every England fan in the stadium could see the disaster developing and was screaming for a course correction. Yet somehow, among all the England players and coaching staff, there was not a single Homo sapiens sapiens available to talk it through, act as a circuit-breaker, and stop the collapse?
