Elon Musk just released a prompt that turns Grok Bot & Opus 5.5 into an entire first principles strategy team. It's f*cking unreal... Send it to Grok Bot & Opus 5.5, and thank me later. Then read the full playbook with examples below.
Grok Bot + Opus 5.5 could turn a single chatbot into a 24/7 AI engineering team. It can coordinate agents, fix GitHub issues, verify code and prepare pull requests while you sleep. In this article, I show you how.

There are experts in open source trying to break cryptography with frontier models and their specific knowledge. You just don't hear about this over the daily panicons.

And people still think Coinbase is pro-Ethereum.
As expected, Coinbase sold 100% of their sequencer fees and ETH holdings are flat at 150k All the while they added over $50M of BTC The strategy is clear, and unfortunately it is not a winning one: it is a big missed opportunity

Eth has to be valuable. Ok. But there is no revenue and no real reason to hold eth/buy eth, people can just use the chain to buy other stuff /sell eth. So who is going to buy?

The unfortunately reality is that this shouldn't even come across as a hot take, when this is the blatant reality. For years the EF hasn't been able to grow up, and accept the reality that this is no longer the beast it once back in the 2016-2020 era. The core values of being the most decentralized and whatever else are valid arguments but you cannot for a second imagine that force feeding narratives and ideologies down peoples throats as a prerequisite for adhering to the basic principles. The tides have shifted a lot. DeFi is the only major use-case, but the EF has been reluctant to accept that. In turn they over fund junk. They allow endless pet projects to evaporate money, and in turn ask that individuals get remunerate by legacy and making an impact. Unfortunately it needs to maintain an absolutely ruthless mentality the same way a startup fighting for growth does. You can have your ideologies but the org needs to be run ruthlessly to win. The tech Ethereum has built will last decades, but I have increasingly become skeptical if the org behind it will allow it to dominate as an L1 a decade from now. It sucks. I've been a core builder for a decade, and will continue to do so to the last day. But they're flushing everything down the line because the old way is the only way

The hacker didn't actually mint any new rsETH. They basically stole the ETH which should have been the property of those holding rsETH on L2s.

Did a little research and published an article on what happens when you give LLM agents wallets and let them play economics. 4 agents, 60 decisions, 341 seconds. The "cooperative" agent scored 30 points. Dead last. The "selfish" agent scored 82. First place. The cooperative agent knew it was being exploited. Round 8, after getting zeroed seven times straight, it reasoned: "cooperating might seem disadvantageous... However, building trust could lead to better outcomes." It cooperated anyway. Findings: - Small models prompted for cooperation are sitting ducks - Large models calculate expected value and defect ruthlessly - Tit-for-tat prompting actually achieved mutual cooperation (30-30) - No model learned mid-game. Zero adaptation. If you're building agent-to-agent payment systems, this matters. Reputation systems aren't optional. Part 1 of ongoing research. Ultimatum Game and real token stakes coming next. Follow me for more.

The only bull case for ETH that actually makes sense and is totally practical is becoming the money layer for AI agents. The problem no one's talking about that I've been harping on in private group chats is that agents can't use banks. They can't KYC. They don't have social security numbers. They can't wait for ACH to clear. They can't call customer support when a wire gets stuck. In order to be truly useful tools for the world, AGENTS NEED TO TRANSACT!!!! A lot. Agent A needs compute, pays Agent B. Agent B needs data, pays Agent C. Agent C needs API access, pays a protocol. This is happening millions and jillions of times per day, and it's going to happen without humans in the loop. The only way this works is with programmable, permissionless, always-on money. That means onchain stablecoins. And ETH is the only ecosystem with the infrastructure to actually support this. Deep liquidity so agents can swap without getting destroyed on slippage. Battle tested contracts that won't lose agent funds. Account abstraction so agents can operate with programmable wallets. Composability so an agent can swap, stake, borrow, and pay in a single atomic transaction. Solana is fast but shallow. Bitcoin isn't programmable. New L1s have no liquidity. Traditional rails won't serve non-human actors by design. Every other ETH narrative has stalled. Ultra sound money didn't capture mindshare. L2 scaling fragmented liquidity. DeFi plateaued. NFTs peaked. But this is different. This isn't a narrative you have to sell people on. It's just what happens when agents need to move value and there's only one system that works. The AI economy needs money that doesn't require permission. ETH already built it. 8004 unlocks a lot of cool stuff and I'm about to release my research here shortly. Stay tuned.
