All they want to do is to destroy and steal
Green Party leader Emily Lowan doesn't want conservatives to exist.
Last I checked Canadians aren't allowed to say stuff like that. Or is it only when it's against conservatives that it's okay?
CBC quoted Lowan’s speech right up to the line that reveals the ideology—and then stopped
In their election-night write-up, CBC reported: “We may have a small caucus, but tonight we have inherited an enormous responsibility, and that is to hold a majority Conservative government to account.”
What she said next, according to the full transcript (and the video CBC itself posted):“We are the only party who is equipped to stand against the Conservatives and their existence.”
That is not “holding a government to account.” That is declaring the victorious party’s existence illegitimate. It is the language of elimination, not opposition
If a BC Conservative candidate had said the NDP or Greens needed to be opposed “and their existence,” it would have led every newscast, every panel, and every CBC segment for days. Instead, the line was edited out of the written coverage while the surrounding sentences were used to portray her as a responsible voice of accountability
This is not an oversight. CBC has the full speech on their website. They chose which sentences to quote and which to bury. Meanwhile, hosts and panels continue to treat the BC Conservatives as uniquely dangerous while soft-pedaling a 26-year-old party leader who just framed an entire party’s existence as the problem to be solved
Age is not a shield. “Movement building” is not a euphemism that erases the actual words. Selective quotation that stops one sentence before the most revealing line is not journalism—it is CBC narrative management
The video is on CBC’s own site. The transcript is public. The CBC omission is the story @brodiefenlon

Replying to @MarkJCarney
@MarkJCarney I am coming for your job Mark, you fooled me. But, now I flipped the board, its a whole new perspective. Your benefiting your pot is getting larger because you only care about your interests. Well, I always cared about my neighbours my fellow Canadians. Brookfield is always tied to every deal you make I see the chain ⛓️ the pattern. “Can you feel their haunting presence…?” Your speeches have become mundane and repetitive your speech writer is shit guess he was Oxford educated too @liberal_party 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🫡
I have not forgotten either.
Fun Fact : The Kerry Lynne Findlay Conservative party was polling just as high in July, as the Lorne Doerkson Conservative party is now.
It wasn't until the BC Liberals publicly threw a hissy fit & then revolted, that the Conservative numbers plummeted under KLF.
People wanted change in July. The BC Liberals decided they needed a change of our democratically elected leader, so the BC Liberal agenda could proceed.
I have voted Conservative in this election to get rid of the BC NDP. But I have not forgotten what the BC Liberals have done.

I used to be a Mark Carney supporter. But Canada 🇨🇦 is not a corporation its my home 🏠🇨🇦 my values, my heritage and my culture, mark Carney lied about immigration its over 300,000 than he reported. I supported his EU goals, no more he can’t be trusted so to @MarkCarney I say I am not European but I AM CANADIAN 🔥🇪🇺🔥🇪🇺🔥🇪🇺🔥🇪🇺🔥🇪🇺!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

So basically Carney cares more about providing aid to another country than about the very citizens in Canada that fund everything.
Carney’s conditions for recognizing a Palestinian state just got exposed as empty rhetoric
Last year he said recognition was predicated on PA commitments, including free and fair elections in 2026 with Hamas playing no role. Abbas postponed them (again) until 2027. Asked whether Canada has any plan to hold the PA to that commitment, Carney’s answer is pure deflection:
“We certainly are holding to account… We’re supporting efforts to have those elections… At the same time, we will continue to provide humanitarian aid… So there are many things that are not working within Palestine, and there are many who are responsible for that.”
No consequences. No review of recognition. No leverage. Just “deep regret” from foreign ministers and a pivot to Gaza aid. The PA has now broken the core condition Carney used to justify the move, and his response treats it as just another unfortunate fact of life rather than a failure of his own policy. And no mention about the $100M cheque he sent them on September 22
Conditions that carry no cost when they’re ignored aren’t conditions—they’re political cover.
You can almost hear him saying "Thank you. Thank you, Diana. I'm aware. Which is why we have an arms embargo" like last time. @MarkJCarney
It's interesting how Mark Carney is spending money on housing for people in the Dominican Republic... he thinks so little of Canadians.
Interesting tone coming from this BC Conservative campaign ad. After the election I think it's time for the party to rename themselves the BC Liberals as they refused to even allow a Conservative leader lead.

CBC let Trudeau-appointed Senator Paula Simons lecture Albertans without once noting how she got the job
Trudeau picked her in 2018, bypassing Alberta’s Senate nominee elections. In the October 20 interview she celebrated the separation “no” while slamming the other questions as “very divisive, some of them racist.”
On immigration she said: “If we were smart, we’d use it to increase immigration levels… the idea of shooing immigrants away is so counterproductive.”
On the 53% vote to pursue Senate abolition she dismissed it: “Most Canadians don’t understand the Senate… this doesn’t give me too much worry.”
No pushback. No mention of the ignored Alberta elections. No challenge to her framing of popular views as ignorance or prejudice. Just a typical soft CBC platform for a progressive appointee to defend the unelected chamber and scold the province that never chose her
