Do not fall for this mentality of ease and comfort; we are actually tough creatures built to learn from and adapt to pressure, harnessing it for our own power.

Edmonton has a massive amount of empty lots and low density, rundown housing downtown, at the downtown airport site and along the northeast LRT line. If Andrew Knack & his council want a multi-plex heaven, why not there? Why destroy established and thriving neighborhoods?

"Babcock’s Oilers so far are averaging 15.2 Grade A shots for per game while giving up 11.6 Grade A shots against, for a strong 56.8 Grade A shots percentage. "But Knoblauch’s teams had a higher Grade A shots percentage in 12 of their 10-game segments over the past three seasons, topping out at 63.5 Grade A shot percentage twice."

The dirtiest team in hockey by far, Part 1 Will the NHL take action?
I wish the NHL was stricter on stuff like what Aaron Ekblad tries to do to Shane Pinto here. Not even remotely resembling a hockey play.

SpaceX just did something no politician has done in 50 years: it handed ownership of the future directly to regular people. That's the ticket to abundance. And in that world, career politicians are finished. Let me explain. In June, SpaceX went public in the largest IPO in history: $75 billion raised, more than double Saudi Aramco's old record. And instead of reserving the deal for Wall Street, it set aside up to 30% of the shares for individual investors. A normal mega-IPO gives retail 5 to 10%. Think about what that means. For the first time, a nurse, a plumber, a student could own a piece of the company that launches most of what reaches orbit, runs Starlink, and is building the infrastructure of the energy-and-AI economy. Not a subsidy. Not a welfare check. A property title on the future. Now connect it to everything we've discussed. Elon says fiat money is becoming obsolete and that energy is the true currency. Governments can print money. They can't print energy. That's pure Austrian economics. Mises and Hayek explained a century ago that money should be anchored to something real, that prices carry information no planner can replicate, and that entrepreneurs, not bureaucrats, should allocate capital. And history proves them right. The 1929 crash and the 2008 crisis followed the same script: the State and its central bank kept money artificially cheap, inflated a bubble, then made citizens pay when it burst. Easy credit in the 1920s, then tariffs and price controls that turned a crash into a decade-long depression. Rates at 1% in the 2000s plus government-backed mortgages, then bailouts and money printing that rewarded the people who caused it. The State didn't prevent those crises. It manufactured them. Meanwhile, Elon took on the State's monopolies one by one, without seizing power. Space, which was a government monopoly. Communications, where Starlink connects places governments never reached. Energy, where Tesla batteries stabilize national grids. And now money itself. Not by force. By building things that work better. And when you combine an energy-backed economy with AI and robots producing goods and services, plus regular people owning shares in the companies that build it, you get something new: abundance owned by the people, not managed by politicians. So what is a politician for in that world? Not printing money. Energy can't be printed. Not allocating capital. Entrepreneurs do it better. Not redistributing. People own the assets directly. That's why they're panicking. House Democrats are already announcing that if they win the midterms, Elon will be at the top of their investigation list. The man who brought American astronauts back to orbit, connected war zones, and just handed the public a stake in the largest IPO ever. That's their priority. So to every corrupt politician reading this: You have two choices. Option one: start right now. Find out what real value you can create in this new world. Build something. Solve a problem. Stop living off the work of others. Option two: keep crying. Keep attacking the closest thing we have to a living Leonardo da Vinci, a man worth a trillion dollars because he built what you never could. Keep filing subpoenas instead of shipping anything. And watch the market, the voters, and history make you irrelevant. Because in the age of abundance, there's no room left for parasites. Build or get left behind.
House Democrats have indicated that Elon Musk would be a top target for congressional investigations and increased oversight if they regain control of the House in the upcoming midterm elections. These people are crazy!

Before stepping into the ring, Cus D’Amato would repeat to Mike Tyson that you don’t exist, only the task exists. The moment you internalize what this really means, all self-doubt simply ceases to exist, because there’s no longer a self to doubt. What’s left is total immersion in the task, which is what the flow state actually is, where there’s no “you” left to interfere, and action arises by itself, like second nature, faster than conscious thought, through the sheer genius of your unconscious mind.
No exaggeration, this guy might be the best interview in pro sports right now

Sauna is my number one longevity intervention after exercise and diet. A lot of what happens in the sauna overlaps with what happens during exercise, and sauna can even add to the benefits you’re already getting from exercise, including bigger gains in aerobic fitness and reductions in blood pressure. Then there’s the long-term data - using the sauna 4 to 7 times weekly is associated with a 40% lower risk of all-cause mortality, a 50% lower risk of cardiovascular-related death, and up to a 66% lower risk of dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Combined evidence from the physiology, exercise trials, and long-term data is a big part of why I take deliberate heat exposure seriously (and why you should too).
