Why did @BackpackerMag use a photo from Tehachapi California for an article about the Appalachian trail, thousands of miles away? It's like people don't even try with photos any more.
Years ago the wife and I were on a trip in Japan and she needed urgent care. We went to a hospital clinic and I proceeded to freak out how much it was gonna cost. I think we paid $17.

Many years ago I took an interest in the semantic web and attempted to work on a personal knowledge system. I didn't get very far, but the desire to create inter-connected knowledge has stuck with me. Just found github.com/zadam/trilium and my mind is blown. 1/2

I *really* hope it is stable because it suits me pretty much perfectly. The combination of hierarchy, arbitrary typed relationships and customization just seems almost too good to be true. And to think I almost settled on some simple evernote clone! 2/2
