I am super excited to announce that I have committed to Clemson University to continue my academic and athletic career!
Without God, none of this would be possible. I am beyond grateful for every blessing, opportunity, and person He has placed in my life to help me reach this moment.
I want to give a huge thank you to
my travel coaches, Coach Rock, Coach Jenny, Coach Britt, Coach Nel, Coach Jacob, and Coach Eric for believing in me, pushing me to be my best, and helping me grow not only as a player but as a person. Thank you to my school ball coaches, Coach K, Coach Brown, and Coach Chaney for all of your support, guidance, and encouragement throughout my journey.
To my parents, thank you for every sacrifice you have made, every mile traveled, every early morning and late night, and for always believing in me even when things got tough. I would not be where I am today without your unconditional love and support. And thank you Jenna and my Grandparents for always being by my side and cheering me on through every step of this journey.
I also want to thank my travel teammates. Thank you for the countless memories, the laughs, the hard work, and for pushing me every day to be better. I am so thankful for the friendships and experiences we have shared.

Boys Of Fall would not have been the same without my good friend @SeanPayton. This is Sean giving a pregame speech in Naperville, Illinois where he played High School football. This speech wasn’t scripted. He spoke from heart. Sean is a great football coach but he is a great communicator and motivator. This speech still gives me chills. Sean I am forever grateful. Mental toughness is often framed as the perseverance that gets you across the finish line:
- Find a way to make it happen

But most days, mental toughness isn't about crossing the finish line. It's about getting to the starting line:
- Show up when no one is watching
- Keep your eye on the ball

Use calibrated questions like "How does staying up late help you?" rather than "Why won't you just go to bed?" The first invites problem-solving; the second triggers defensiveness. When children feel heard rather than overpowered, they develop emotional regulation instead of resentment. Remember, your goal isn't winning the argument—it's creating an environment where cooperation becomes their idea. The beauty is in watching them internalize this approach and apply it themselves, turning potential household hostage situations into opportunities for growth.

As a young man I remember attending a Promise Keepers conference in Birmingham. Spoke about how to treat your wife in a way to would be pleasing to the Lord, I still remember that lesson as today.
