A new study with our friends and collaborators @sahm_lab shows that clear cell meningiomas are molecularly distinct from other MNG, with pathognomonic (& often germline) mutations in the #SWISNF component SMARCE1.

Good progress being made overall, but big disparities across cancer types. Major improvements for e.g. lung ♂️and breast ♀️, but sadly almost none in #braincancer – one of the top causes of years of life lost despite being rarer than many other cancers. Work still to be done!
