Alief ISD was honored to welcome global musical artist and proud Alief native Lizzo back to the community! A former student of Hicks Elementary, Youngblood Intermediate, and Elsik High School, Lizzo returned to share her story, celebrate her Alief roots, and inspire the next generation.
During her visit, Lizzo shared her newly published children’s book, Lil Lizzo Meets Sasha B Flootin, with students and talked about her journey in music. She also brought her musical talent to the experience with a special flute performance!
Welcome home, Lizzo! We’re proud to call you one of our own! #AliefProud #YouBelongHere #AliefISD
