I’ve been working on a 12-part series titled Childlike Wonder. This series captures both the lightness and depth of childhood, as well as the emotional complexities that shape the adults we become.

If what he has designed hasn't been properly executed, then design your own and post a well executed version.

It still feels like a dream that I was physically assaulted by a “dollar gold” aboki guy at Yaba two days ago.
He caressed my arm, and the moment I shoved his hands off my body, he landed a hot slap on my face.
It was unbelievable that people had the audacity to defend him.

I usually don’t do this
But I bought this bag from NectarHQ in Nigeria a few years ago.
Within few days of getting the bag, the hand got torn, I tried reaching out to them to fix it, to no avail.
I said no problem and locked up.
I was at an airport in Canada few weeks ago and I saw a woman rocking the exact design of the bag. I reached out to her and she told me the bag was from Monos.
I went to their website and lo behold, it safe to say that NectarHQ in Nigeria is a rip off of Monos in Canada.
But that’s not the crazy part…I understand you can “steal like an artist”.
This is the really annoying part.
First the quality.
When I finally purchased the bag from Monos, the difference in leather is—and I’m not exaggerating—HEAVEN and HELL difference.
(I’ve attached photos and pictures)
Now it’s okay, to have shitty quality (can’t believe I said that) but what’s NOT…okay is having
1. A shitty quality
2. Absolute horrible customer service AND 3. YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE ORIGINAL???
Yes. NectarHQ’s bag is/was more expensive than their Canadian counterpart.
Like make it make sense.
Anyways if you intend on purchasing from NectarHQ, this is my own experience. I’m not saying they’re a bad company. I’m just saying in light of new information I’m further pissed with my experience.

you need to constantly remind yourself of the humiliation rituals most Nigerian artistes make you go through in their December concerts when you get the itch to buy their tickets.

If you are looking to travel the world for work, conferences, competitions, summits, volunteering, workshops, education, and more across Pakistan, Nigeria, SA, UAE, Nepal, India, Ghana, the UK, the US, and beyond.
I spent hours during the weekend finding companies abroad that are actively hiring and funding and compiled them into one sheet.
Application links, eligibility criteria have been added, so all you have to do is review the sheet and apply.

Dear Nigerians,
You cannot solar-panel your way to national development.
This is just another version of the “I better pass my neighbour” generator era that ends up lining the pockets of capitalists.
We went from buying fuel to escape darkness to buying panels to escape darkness.
At what point do we stop adapting to dysfunction and start demanding a functioning country?
