We have found it increasingly hard to access the relevant content, connect with other scientists and educators and enjoy this platform like we used to without content pushed by the algorithm pushed. But we hope to stay in touch ;)

Unlike traditional films, nanoparticles in aqueous environments show significantly longer charge lifetimes, thanks to stabilization by the surrounding water molecules. These insights could have major implications for boosting efficiency in photocatalytic hydrogen production.

Operando spectroscopic measurements show BiVO4 water oxidation kinetics are the same under both light and dark conditions, requiring surface accumulation of valence band holes. This spectroscopy also allows an operando determination of light intensity-dependence of photovoltage.
