I don’t believe for a second Twitter will collapse from an overdose of Elon Musk. Some will step in to take it off his hands. But, just in case, since I’m also set for open heart surgery on December 2 I’ll take this moment to wish everyone an enjoyable future! – at Lacey, WA

Tenino alumni update: Ashley Schow is still pretty good at that basketball thing. Former All-Area MVP has started both games for @cwu_wbb so far this year, and after scoring 2 pts in her debut, dropped 17 on 8-11 shooting this afternoon against Stanislaus St.
Half a century ago, I was watching my high school’s football game and commented early in the 4Q “all they need to is run out the clock.” The guy next to me scoffed, saying it wasn’t possible to put together an 11-minute drive. Oregon just damn near did it. – at Lacey, WA
Nine consecutive games of 50 or more points for Yelm. Rainier Beach or Kennewick next for the Tornados. At last glance, Beach led Kennewick by a touchdown. – at Lacey, WA

The worst strategy that coaches still routinely employ is holding the ball for the last shot of every period no matter what the score is. So many no shot possessions and wild shots at the buzzer. In the analytics age it seems like this is a play that doesn’t pencil out. – at Lacey, WA
