This pompous and smug attitude to answering questions is just disgusting. You are paid over £140,000 a year to govern this country and are answerable to the people’s representatives in parliament. Acting in this manner is insulting and completely unacceptable.
Always ready to remind Reform.

The new habit of SNP and Labour MSPs punching or slapping their tables when speaking to Reform MSPs is so transparent. Trying to look big and principled but actually looking like spoilt children.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH DEBATE SNP Stuart McMillan accuses Reform Victor Currie of racism for saying “new groups” only to be told he is half Indian.

Crime has exploded, purchasing power (the most important metric) is stagnant, and we are losing our national personality. The Tory and Labour experiment with mass migration must be ended.
Labour and the Tories opened the floodgates to millions of migrants from across the world. Reform will achieve net negative migration, deport every illegal migrant and reverse this madness. End of.

The mummies don’t care about being on display in a museum because they are dead. Their families don’t care because they are also dead. Their friends are also dead.
"The knee-jerk brainlessness is painful to behold. Tory MSP Murdo Fraser – who else? – babbled about mummies being cancelled. How dull, how predictable. "Fraser describes himself as a Christian. Do the dead require no respect in his faith? Certainly, as an atheist, I’m troubled by the notion of behaving improperly towards the dead. "What difference is there between a corpse today, and a corpse from 4,000 years ago? Is there a point at which dignity is time-barred? If we can display the bodies of the long-dead, can we also display the bodies of those shouting about "woke museums" should they die tomorrow? "Would I personally remove dead bodies from museums? Probably not. Do I think there’s an intelligent and interesting conversation to be had about the issue? Undoubtedly. Do I think the curators who run our museums know more than me – and Murdo Fraser – and should be listened to? Of course. "So do I accept their decision to remove these objects? Yes, if they believe that’s morally right. I’m certainly not going to sit online sweaty-eyeballed and wailing about 'woke gone mad'. I have a life. "The anti-woke battalions have been cackling about how absurd it is for museums to say that consent is required before a body can be displayed. Again, when they die, can we put the bodies of the anti-woke in Kelvingrove Museum without their consent?" Let's try having an intelligent discussion about mummies in museums || Neil Mackay 👇

Today I hosted representatives of Trade Associations Scotland in my role as a member of the finance committee. I heard about their priorities for the upcoming budget and what barriers they face, expanding apprenticeships, and the overall business environment in Scotland.

Young people deserve a fair wage but it is unacceptable to increase costs on businesses without making employing people more affordable. We need cheaper energy, less tax on business, and an NI cut for younger workers. This is just going to make the NEET problem worse.
🚨 NEW: John Healey will increase the minimum wage for over 21s from £12.71 to around £13.20

Police Scotland faces “devastating cuts”, and this comes just days after we find out the Scottish Government is paying £27M for civil servants without defined roles. The SNP cannot be trusted with taxpayers’ money.

A few days ago, it was “I will not comment on Reform”, and now when the opportunity for press coverage comes it’s disgusting smears against Malcom and Reform leadership. Amanda Bland should resign immediately and let West Lothian have the Reform MSP they voted for.
MSP Amanda Bland blames “abusive misogynistic behaviour” by Reform leaders drove her to quit party-triggering her back to a child growing up in house torn apart by domestic abuse saying “it feels like I’ve escaped coercive control.” @RealStephenKerr @MaryHowden @ItsTimeCampaign

All spending by the Scottish Government should support Scottish businesses. Why are we paying to support Chinese industry?
For the new P1 school bags, Scottish businesses are again being sidelined in favour of China. FM says he supports Scottish manufacturing & whilst 1 or 2 of his supporters will clamour to defend this; they must remember this is SCOTTISH TAXPAYERS' money being directed overseas.

How many Scottish students were denied their university choice because of the cap on the number of Scots who can study at Scottish universities?
More than 9,000 Indian students were enrolled at Scottish universities in 2024/25. In Ahmedabad, First Minister @JohnSwinney met students and university leaders to explore opportunities for academic partnerships and encourage more learners to choose Scotland.

The moral panic against nuclear power has been one of the most damaging things to happen in Britain since the war. Chernobyl is not a counterpoint in 2026. Britain does not have tsunamis like the one that caused Fukushima. Nuclear is needed now more than ever.
Are the Scottish Greens getting ready to back new nuclear? Would put them on the other side of the argument from the SNP.
