It is here, and Ontarians are paying for it with flooded basements, increased business costs, wildfire smoke and related illness, heat waves, damaged roads, and rising insurance premiums and reduced coverage. Ontario’s Financial Accountability Office projects that, without significant adaptation measures, climate hazards will add $4.1 billion a year on average to the cost of maintaining municipal and provincial infrastructure across Ontario. We must ban online gambling in Ontario! All of it. Now. We can’t wait. We can’t take half measures. As he so often does, @fordnation plunged Ontario into an addictions culture headfirst, without a plan, without guardrails, without any anchoring in our values as Ontarians. He risked livelihoods and lives in the process. Young men are being hit especially hard by predatory, multibillion-dollar American profiteers.
