I apologize for all the problems with SI. The volume is overwhelming our registry connection to SI. Honestly I have never seen anything like this. Please slow down everyone.

I finally caught up on my X notifications. There were about 1000, and I read them all. I do see and understand all the frustration that the SI situation caused. I apologize. Our engineers have been working extremely hard to optimize how we use SI connections. Thank you to the SI registry who helped us as well. SI should be working well now, but let me know if you see any other problems.

Had a call with the head of our registry team this morning. Here is what is happening with SI: - EPP commands are taking a long time, sometimes up to 20 seconds - We don't have enough registry connections for the size of the zone we are trying to manage - We are trying to reach out to SI engineers to coordinate some improvements

Dynadot is at API World Conference in Santa Clara, California. A full 25% of our registration volume comes through our API. Our API supports 900 tlds, expired auctions, coupon codes, Afternic/Sedo and full account management. The best API in the domain industry in my opinion.

Ray King (founder of Porkbun) and I have teamed up to launch Oinkadot, a new registry that has applied for 25 new TLDs. What made partnering with Ray easy is that we’ve always shared the same values: treat customers well, think long term, and do the right thing. We still have the ICANN contention process ahead of us, so we don’t yet know which TLDs we will ultimately launch. But over the coming months, I’d love to hear your ideas. If we’re creating new places on the Internet, we want to build places people actually want to be.

A screenshot of the Dynadot admin control panel which our team uses every day. We connect to 800 TLDs, 50 payment processors, and dozens of other endpoints. We have custom chat, ticket and email systems. On AWS we have 200+ instances. It is a pretty complex system, and it takes a lot of engineers and code to keep things running smoothly.
