Horse limb bones are astonishingly dense & challenging to scan, as we learned this week with Maxime Vandersmissen and Valeria Busoni (farah.uliege.be).
For start, we retrieved a 18μm zoom scan, and look forward to continue on this collaboration! uantwerpen.be/dynxlab

We provide X-ray imaging services for industry and academic research: consultation, acquisition, visualization, and analysis.
This channel will revolve around time-resolved, dynamic X-ray. Including, of course, our own projects :)
Scan requests and collaborations welcome!
We coordinate services at two facilities:
- the UA FleXCT (uantwerpen.be/en/research-gr…), a customized @tescan_micro UnitomXL
- 3D²YMOX (uantwerpen.be/en/research-gr…), an open system with two sources, capable of #XROMM, tomography, and other 4DCT applications.
